I understand where you are coming from but I don't think majors are willing to rush things. They are multi billion pound companies. They would rather spend a few hundred million more on a project that is further de risked than rush into offers. If they have the option to extend the exclusivity I think they will take it.
Also worth mentioning Nicks recent comments 'Obviously, because of the exclusivity with Anglo, we are not able or, in fact, desirous to enter into any other discussions with any other group'.
IMO a deal with AA is very likely and they are willing to make a fair offer. They would not have been offered exclusivity otherwise.
China, I admire your commitment to bad mouthing Nick and complaining about Arc taking years to develop a project that will obviously take years to develop. A major is in serious discussions with the company and a deal looks extremely likely. Short term share price is irrelevant.
Imagine what you could achieve if you put as much effort in to something useful.

For anyone who's not on Twitter
It's worth remembering that we have previously turned down offers. Probably offers where we would give away most of the upside. We are looking to stay in control and retain maximum upside.
Despite several interested majors we have decided to give Anglo exclusivity. Why do this unless it is to our benefit?
A lot of people seem to think that because they are the big boys they're going to bully us into a deal where they take most of the upside. It's the complete opposite. We are in control.
Anglo have two options in my view. They either invest in exploration through some sort of JV or they make us an offer we can't refuse for the whole area that takes into account possible discoveries at targets we haven't drilled yet.
We are funded for further drilling seasons. They either make us a good offer or we further prove up the asset with our own money and they can bid against the other majors when we have our confirmed multiple tier 1 assets.
We have no need to accept a bad deal!!!
The only problem with that is we're still waiting for Muswema assays and they were before the exclusivity.
I'm expecting something next week. It could be an interesting week with the AGM and Nick speaking at the Junior Indaba.
There's no real benefit to Anglo in my opinion. The other majors aren't daft. They may not know the exact grades but they know we've hit sulphides over a large area.
Nick will have his valuation. If Anglo don't match it he waits until he can show all the details to the other interested parties.
I would imagine some sort of deal in principle was agreed before the exclusivity anyway.
'The Company has received all the assays from ALS and is completing its interpretation of this new data. As a result of the above the Company is reassessing its drilling priorities.'
Any ideas on what this might mean? We know Fwiji was the main target this year with follow up work at a number of other targets.
After hitting sulphides at Fwiji is that now the sole focus or could Mr Wood have found something that we either weren't aware of or wasn't a high priority on our target list? I'm really looking forward to the update.
If we move away from valuing what we have in the ground (it is a bit of guess work until we have more details) Remy mentioned two other recent success stories on AIM. Solgold and Greatland gold. 'You see where they are valued so clearly there is a lot of upside for us if we do things correctly over the next few months'.
At the time of the call they had Mcaps of around £500m I believe and are now both around £800m.
I'd like to think Remy mentioned those two as he felt we could achieve similar valuations.
I appreciate this isn't a very technical way to value us but Remy will have a good idea of what he's expecting.
I'm expecting a call after results. If there was a call now all it would be is people asking why results are late and asking questions about Anglo which Nick won't be able to answer because of confidentiality.
