Scruffy A...opportunity to buy ?...I done 24 trades on various shares between 2 -8th August including reinvesting lloyds last div @55.26....market not In real sell off mode atm imo..4p either way some people go into meltdown..regards lloyds like when I was 41 -54pfor a long time and dealt at both levels....im now 51 -63p..andwill have a look if it reaches said levels...happy to be invested here gl

2024 gen election ..Labour only won 33.8% of the vote (only 1.7% higher than 2019)..but their seat tally doubled...Reform fielding so many mp's split the conservative vote allowing labour a very large seat majority...I agree the conservatives needed to change and also deserved a massive kick up the backside......however on speaking to some reform voters they believe they have now allowed a govt that is more pro immigrant anti wealth/asset into power..?..Who knows !...from the 11th of sept this year i will only be in this country for about 3 months out of the next 12.....im finding this great country very divided miserable and de motivated....possibly one of the most depressing speeches ive ever heard from Starmer yesterday there really was no need for it imo....gla & atb.

Labour have acknowleged that at least 900,000 pensioners who deserve pension credit are not recieving said benefit.....there are also many as said by Martin Lewis who are just over the income band who will have a harsh winter...so the true cost to these people from last winter is £650 difference (£300 cost of liv £200 win fuel £150 energy price cap).....just because it doesnt affect me in anyway doesn't mean i cant call it out...im 67 and i am concerned for these pensioners...ps the so called socialists on here who find it funny should hang there head in shame.

Mick b i doubt anyone on here relies on the winter fuel payment ...as normal your missing the point...there are some people in the country who definitely do need it and coupled with no winter cost of living payment will be forced into further hardship this winter.....Glad your pleased with the government decision ...even one of your hero's Martin lewis is against it in its current form...gl though
