i agree scb thats why im a bit dumfounded by the current sp...thought it would be higher

% rises over the last month barc +14.6...nwg +11.74...lloyds +3.59...hsbc +3.57 %...

i hold plenty of lloyds shares and i was more disappointed last week when the sp wouldnt breach 47p....the sp definitely needs a lift but i dont think we will hear much till the end of october...

seems to be a pattern lately ....china burying the market and the usa doing the resurrecting ....

usa & uk retail sales this week..plus uk inflation & usa housing starts worth keeping a very watchful eye on imho...we need encouraging news ...

Uk unemployment figures encouraging...but China negatively affecting the mornings ....gla

Off topic I know...I hold quite a few tesco shares and I believe you do to...hearing a few rumours without any foundation re a supposed tie up with a large American company..I know the sp is doing ok ..but thought that was because of morrisons...any thoughts ..tia..

it was 50p on the 2nd of june.......im talking about this week beginning the 9th aug....i havent see 47p this week ...have you ?....yet...could be imminent though...!

far end i was talking about this week not the 4th august...but its getting there ...gl.

as you may know ive had 44p-49p alerts on for a while now 44p was triggered on the 19th july where i bought some more ...really thought the sp would reach 48p this week but 47p would be a start !....i like the share and imo has upside...i see the top this year 52-55p but there needs to be positive news from the lloyds BR..gl.

bit of economic data today and tomorrow.in the usa and here ..cpi & ppi...will show inflation pressures...get through that and i still see the sp as a bit low...im not buying any more atm...goldman sachs downgrade to 45p didnt help..i wonder how much weight their statement carried ?..gla.

still very hopeful 48p will be achieved this week....gla
