DC dont mind falkland he is still nursing heavy losses from IAG and LLOYDS last week when he said "goodbye horsey..lol "...falkland does his money regularly.....but the good news is its fantasy trading ..come friday all will be wiped off and he can begin again monday talking nonsense....falkland has no other life sadly....anyways i now find he's posting quite amusing sometimes let falkland get on with it he's harmless...gl

i agree in part tom its all about my re entry level i sold my holding @117.40 on the 25th of august im looking to buy back in at 105ish if it gets there again...if it doesnt so be it gl

thought i may have a look @43p...gone through that level and now may buy @42p if it gets there...i hold a reasonable amount 44.14 avg..but not as many when i sold end of may....42p alert on...great weather golf beckons...gla.

nothing new when raising funds for the exchequer ...The Office for Budget Responsibility has provided an insight into the impact of Gordon Brown’s 1997 tax grab on pensions through the abolition of the tax credit on dividends.

The extra income for the exchequer is expected to be £9.7bn this year. From July 1997 to 2014 the Treasury enjoyed a £117.9bn boost.

So that is almost £118bn that has not been invested in pensions since 1997.

A back-of-a-matchbox calculation suggests investors may have lost £230bn with investment growth.

But from this we have to deduct the money that would have been snatched in charges.
