theosus...thats the trouble with over inflated earning estimates as with citigroup and jp morgan last week......the sp adjusts itself to the facts whether that affects the sp up or down..

goldman sachs earnings missed estimates...sp down 7.9% atm.....more likely to reflect on the barc sp than lloyds

i agree theosus...im still holding plenty of shares but im sticking to price targets and selling a percentage when that targets reached ...gl atb

bumble re lloyds... i only sold 10% of my lloyds holding yesterday purely profit taking ....i like to lock in some profit ...re some of the other shares ive sold a percentage in they've come way and im happy to lock profit in......inflation is at the moment good for lloyds but it can halt an economic recovery....gl

Possible......sold a few different shares this morning..no more lloyds sold some yest @55.68.....

a real inflation driver....

took profit on a small percentage of my lloyds holding .....big uk data this week unemployment,infation,retail sales ....have a good week all..gl

i already have a reasonable position..im not adding anymore atm....just seeing various predictions up to a £1...buy the years end....just curious/interested...

- The FOMC projects inflation nearer 2.5% by year-end
- We are ready to raise interest rates as soon as the asset purchase taper is completed.....

i agree theosus...atm i cannot see base rates being any higher than 1% by jan 1st 2023.....but obviously things can change.gl

gbp/usd @13728....everyone calling a feb rate hike im only 50/50 on that.....

sold some bank stock today barclays@216.15 not lloyds..barc.also up over 20% in a month...

morning ..my lowest trade on lloyds was @23.99 on the 21/09/2020...the contract note says the time 12.30....i bought more around that date but that was the lowest price i paid....have a good day all

i would be surprised that if there is a rate hike in feb it would be as much as 0.50....you never know though .gl
