Gold up above 1900 dollars this morning and PAF up over 2% in J’brg so looks like a rebound on the cards.

Overall a pretty good week for PAF.....20p in sight!

As with most gold miners, it has been a bad week but it’s a well run company and provided gold stabilises and starts to move up again, we shall soon move up to a more realistic level above 20p.

Another big drop today even though gold is holding up well...is it just the Putin factor or is there something else going on?

Given what appears to be good news from Pavlov, difficult to know why SP has dropped this morning.

I find it best to buy about 10k at a time. Looks like Gold is holding firm and Polymetal has “bottomed out”. Barring the unexpected, l feel anyone who is in at £15 or less and is prepared to hold for say 12 months should be fine.

Now at year low...gold holding steady so it looks like other factors dragging it down. Losing too much so will just have to wait for divi l guess.

Gold showing signs of recovery and if it continues we should be back on track to see PAF recover from recent dip....here’s hoping!

Thanks for that Gavster....Gold up nicely today and 4 out of 4 brokers rate PAF a “Strong Buy” so
despite the turbulence in main markets today, PAF should weather the current difficulties better than most.

One change l note from AGM is that the dividend will now be 0.84954p ....a reduction from previous estimates as a result of changes in exchange rates since the original announcement.

Yes further to go l think...looks more positive today....Gold prices are the key....looks to me like a well-managed company, highly profitable, nearly debt-free...what can go wrong!

Do we know when the buy-back starts? We could do with a boost!

Finally moved into profit...big question...do l wait for divi or reduce holding to lock in some profit?

Many thanks, RocketVI....for your advice which is appreciated and l agree with your sentiments...l have been quite badly burned on other go,d miners over the last six months so l am hoping PAF will rescue me! I have been wrong many times but all my research on PAF suggests it is way too cheap at present.

Only started buying Pan African fairly recently and have noticed a couple of things when buying....it is cheaper to buy in fairly small quantities as the price to buy increases for larger quantities...the spread is very wide in the first hour or so and the guide price is often better than the actual buying price. Perhaps this is because it is a relatively small company or is it just with my broker?

Disappointing today when most gold miners are up a little....getting pretty close to year low of 15p!
