You talk about u funded public pensions. The issue was they would have been fully funded but the governments at the time took all the money in the beginning and spent it rather than actually investing it and therefore created a pyramid scheme.

The issue we have is we have no forward thinking because no one wants to consider investing for future generations over 50 or 100 years.

People forget per kwh electricity it 4 times the price of gas. Yes they are more efficient but retrofitting older homes is not that economical. Especially 20 year old ones with small radiators and 10mm plastic push fit.
