As we head to the end of the month I'm in two minds - whether to wish the price down a little further so I can scoop up a shed-full after payday - or to hope it reverses now to stop my portfolio looking so grim, lol. might stop looking until payday to preserve my sanity!
I also hold mks, firmly believe that the use of ocdo tech will keep them growing ... So the drop seems very odd, expected it to go up further . Puzzled. But waiting it out as I'm still convinced it's a good hold. Wish they'd bring back the Divi though!
I think the 2% footfall drop will be made up for by food sales online and food stores as people celebrate at home instead of in pubs and clubs... Luckily M&S has a presence in more than just London eh. Can't wait for the share price to rocket up when the markets realise that MKS is now really resilient to pandemic bad news.
you need to do some wider research Darien - as far as i'm aware - they have no intention of selling the IP rights- that would be daft. And where on earth do you get the impression they don't have a tech advantage? if anything they now have a tech domination in this area... given the IP infringement ruling in their favour in the USA. plus the investment in vertical farming, autonomous vehicles and robotics. The massive uplift in online groceries for the retail side the previous year due to covid upper 30s%) means that the 4% drop this year - bearing in mind high street shopping has been 'back to normal' for the last half a year still means they are massively up on the last full 'normal' year.
Having just read both articles, the 2019 one was very cautious, but reasonably accurate on its upper end, given today's share price... There is still a tiny bit of caution in the recent article, with the comment about needing to see another krogeresque commitment globally... At which point they will become even more bullish... So I expect the SP to rocket on any further signings... And recent Kroger glowing reports will only be helping that potential and attracting new clients. Combined with the American ruling, this is great news. Obviously have to wait til April '22 to be completely sure, but from what I understand, the commission rulings rarely overturn the preliminary ones. Will definitely be adding some more of this into my portfolio and taking that risk. All IMO of course dyor etc.
I think if the NHS starts to look overwhelmed, they should refuse to treat anyone who didn't get double jabbed, to protect the NHS. At busy times in the past they have had the right to refuse people who are unwell through self inflicted drunkenness, and by choosing not to get vaccinated, it's tantamount to the same stupidity. Natural selection.
Could the more educated on here fill me in on the RNS entries? What's the price review? It says about more or less than a set percentage... Does that imply a big deal at a very different price?
Quiet on this board for a while... When's the next date for this share?
Personally I think the autostore gamble is that all publicity is good publicity.... And they get more interest in their inferior product through the bogus case... And the legal fees are perhaps cheaper than good advertising fees... But that might just be me being cynical. I'm holding tight.
