Upbeat, I'm just speculating that Apple canceled the project with Nanoco because they could not overcome the motion-to-photon latency and power requirement for AR or that they accepted another company had overcome this issue and possibly had IP protection. I'm guessing Plessey as the were also working with Nanoco.
Apple could have had this senario in mind from the outset, build a facility to make the QD if we can't use it a supplier will.

Hawi I think you have hit the nail on the head. I read an article a while back that reported the reason for the project with Nanoco was canceled is because Apple could not reconcile the power consumption required to run AR specs. Now it looks like they have decided to go through 3rd party supply, possibly with Plessey. It would explain why they were happy to see the production capability at Nanoco Runcorn, Plessey will use our CFQDs.

Although agreeing a deal and getting IO8 construction underway is great news I think it was largely expected and priced in. IO8 will not produce any income until H1 2020, by which time we will know a lot more about its production date and capabilities and that will lift the SP as news is released.
No reason to be down lots of news to arrive which will have positive effect, no doubt about that.

August possibly not the optomin timing for an operation update, although we are all waiting on tender hooks. I suspect a higher propability could be developing Paraguay, they know oil is there.

Looking forward it does look positive, USA will continue to bring in cash and we should see an increase in output in the short term. Drilling in Paraguay in the next 5 months with a good chance of success due to location and sysmic data. The Argentina elections are not decided and the future is not so clear at the moment. Fernandez has not made any statements so we don't know what expect if he wins and if Macri does make a comeback it would be to the positive, it's a wait and see. The gas pipe line from Vaca Muerta to Buenos Aires is still looking to go ahead in September.

CEBO, I don't buy into the idea that the CEO & CTO had prior knowledge for their sells. The CTO sells compared to his holding weren't significant, take a look at the two pages of sells and buys of director deals and it looks to me just coincidence.

So near with the last project, it must be likely that this is going to work.

You are correct there is a lot of froth around the hemp products, a couple of things to consider. The last paragraph in the rns

That alone is huge as governments have deep pockets to set up an added value process and iof can supply the equipment, the process knowledge and supply the iodine required. This could be a game changer
