• COPL is also ALREADY producing OIL

I did think you meant that Andy but I wasn’t sure…well Art seemed very confident recently that the drilling would be going ahead in January for the FED deep so we’ll see what happens as he knows more than us.

Just incase anyone was unaware or forgot…the billion barrel discovery was drilled by the discovery well and oil was hit in multiple locations…

Shaa you have to think about the end game…if the potential JV partner is Exxon they’re getting two things for the price of one…Oil and potential storage facilities for the CO2 they’re storing..

Even though the Ryder Scott report confirms 1bn+ oil reserves on our land it hasn’t been recovered in high quantities…so it’s smart of them to do the JV, that way they get to exploit the oil with us but also get to go through the motion of depleting the reservoir to the fullest extent not committing to anything more…

Then if all checks out and they pump all the oil out using CO2 for the recovery method from their CCS facility nearby they can then move onto the second phase…using the land as part of their carbon capture project which at that point they can buy the land or COPL itself…

All speculation of course but the above isn’t unreasonable to think about. GLA

Yeah that’s correct shaa…the more time it takes to issue more land leases in Wyoming the more valuable COPL’s land gets.

COPL are sitting on a gold mine, no wonder the big boys want to get in on a deal with them :D

Yeah Shaa they’re everywhere in Wyoming and they have their carbon capture facility(worlds largest) there also. Who knows Exxon might not even be the potential JV partner but everything points to them so I would be surprised if it isn’t.

Bolton I hope something happens here soon too…my bets are on something whether that’s a JV or RBL this side of Christmas.

Also some may say JV’s take long to complete and we’ll be waiting a while but are forgetting that Art has been in contact with the mysterious(EXXON! Lol), potential JV partner for a long time which he alluded to after his “well they have casing” comment on the 4th October if I remember correctly. So let’s say they’ve been in discussions since September, that’s nearly 3 months!

Just something to bear in mind that it’s not been a few weeks, it’s quite the difference and could land any day. A lot of folks will probably miss the initial spike on news but lucky for some we’ll still be undervalued even after one bag ;) GLA

I’m sure the terms are already agreed…so once the technical due diligence checks are done it’ll be a “sign on the dotted line please”, and that could be any day

Imagine for the first stumbling across a company that has 1bn+ Barrels of oil(confirmed independently) on their land onshore in the US , are in late stage discussions with a large US oil company for a JV partnership who are currently doing their final checks before sign off(high chance it’s Exxon Mobil), are in late stage talks regarding their RBL facilities and their assets are worth 3 times their current MCAP…one can dream…oh wait that’s us haha

The market wants us all to jump overboard before the BIG finale…sorry not going to happen :D

It was an exploratory well not a production one so it’s not even worth blinking over…done 16 bopd in September which is peanuts lol

The market can remain irrational longer than most can remain solvent…a good quote which relates to this share imo…the market always wakes up eventually :)

Just a repost from one of my posts in the week below which highlights Exxon Mobil as JV partner just makes sense…

Exxon Mobil has the worlds largest carbon capture facility based in Wyoming with pipes running not too far from our Fed deep discovery and are continuing to invest in Wyoming..

They could be playing a blinder here if it is them as the JV partner…with COPL having a field with 1bn+ barrels of oil, that’s a lot of space that could be exploited once the oil is out of the ground…

Let’s say they partner up with us, they could use the CO2 gas from their facility nearby to inject into the FED deeps for enhanced recovery of the oil… Then once the field is pretty much depleted use the field as part of their carbon capture project storing the CO2 underground… Just a thought

I’m sure Art wants to just sign on the dotted line when it comes to the JV but most majors will have their internal processes so COPL do not have full control on the timing of sign off…but what we do know is that it’s in it’s final stages with Tech DD happening which can come to a close at anytime.

I have no doubt big sparks will be flying when it’s all completed!

JV - “Due diligence and discussions continue with respect to a possible Joint Venture on the Company's deep oil discovery by a large oil company which approached COPL's COPL America Inc affiliate. The Company will provide an update at the appropriate time. The Company is encouraged by the progress to date.”

“If what we have is all so utterly amazing then why haven't we been able to secure an RBL, what with 3 banks knocking our door down to lend us money and now a major oilco wanting a JV.”

ITD - You already know the answer to this as it was in the RNS on the 1st November…

Stability appears to be returning, and as such the Company continues to pursue its objective to secure term sheets.” - Key point is they slowed down not the banks
