Market is testing the weak…and not so surprising IG has now gone close only on long bets with COPL now

Niobrara is on there but this document submitted last year shows they were planning to block that formation from the well…so assuming the work was done this will now only be for the frontier formation.

To abandon the Niobrara formation by squeezing cement into the perforations, mill out the cement and bridge plug to regain access to the existing the Frontier perforations to establish injection. Complete with a 200 000# fracture treatment, and bring it back onto production.”

Sorry nubby been a bit busy…

The 2400 bopd comes from me adding all the 6 wells expected production figures together(400 bopd per well)… this info on prod isn’t in any RNS but jiddy did post something not too long which I believe was a response from art via email to a question he asked(you can ask art to confirm if you have any doubts)

“We have 6 new Wells, all completed for oil production in the Frontier 2. All have perfect cement across the above Frontier 1 sands (3). Several had significant oil shows in the Frontier 1 while drilling including measured oil flow in the drilling mud at surface. Similar oil shows were logged in the Frontier 2 thus resulting in its first completion due to standard industry protocols as it is the lowest productive zone.

Our pitch to our prospective JV partner is to recomplete these Wells for Frontier 1 production, with the first in December. All Frontier completions whether in new Wells, horizontal or vertical, will require fracture stimulation. As the Frontier 1 is quite thick (180') the design of a fracture treatment is important. It is easier to design a frac in a horizontal well in a thick zone by fracking a vertical well first.

In our case as we have all of the facilties in place we can do this at a relatively low cost ($400-$600k) per well dependant on frac sizes currently designed. This is appealing for us and them and is something we could do independent of a JV Partner. We currently have 6 well bores that exceed the cement quality we require. Our reservoir engineer estimates initial production rates from each well to be approximately 400 bbl/d.”

The pricing checks out in the statement so I don’t have any doubts in the statement above and the level of detail given is not something a PI can just make up imo.

This wells hasn’t produced any oil since 2016(1 month) and before that 2014 so any oil production from that well would be additional to what already have.

Now if we take the above statement above from Art and the findings from today I would conclude that the work being done(Pressure testing of the well in CC) is in preparation for re-completion works in CC which are scheduled to start in December/January as stated in the RNS. Could be wrong but you can all make your own conclusions with the info above. GLA

From the document looks like a low pressure test was done on the well in CC which passed.

Looks like some work was done on one of the wells in frontier 2(CC). I can only assume this is in preparation for re-completion works starting soon in CC to increase prod by c. 2400 bopd.

Art has said very recently that drilling will be going ahead in January and the ONLY thing it’s dependent on is them having high grade casing which he is very confident of being able to get…so I would assume the funds to enable this to happen is under control

COPL is an OIL producer at present with current production between 1400-1500 bopd. Yes production could be higher and we all know why but with CC re-completions alone brings them an opportunity to increase this substantially adding an additional c. 2400 bopd.

Oil prices at the moment are fluctuating(going down lol) but I wouldn’t say COPL have missed anything in regards to this…supply is still tight, china hasn’t opened up(Main driver of oil price action recently), embargo on Russia hasn’t started, US SPR reserves haven’t begun to be refilled yet so oil can go right back to $100+ in a flash. GLA

I don’t really understand what’s changed since Friday other than the share price went up on one day and went down today lol…not being funny but where was this energy on Friday…yes a lot of people have been here a very long time and are fed up(clearly) but I don’t see what anyone can do at this present moment…

Regardless of the past the near future presents this company with an opportunity to turn its fortunes around and create HUGE value for its shareholders so sit tight or move on imo…some things we know as of right now..

• Assets are worth 3 times more than the current MCAP
• 1bn+ Barrels of oil confirmed onshore in the US
• In late stage discussions with a large US oil company for a JV(More like waiting for the potential JV partner to give the green light)
• In late stage talks regarding their RBL facilities
• Drilling to commence in January on billion barrel discovery with horizontals
• CC unit re-completion works to start giving an estimated 2400 bopd once all complete

I don’t like to use the word that often but some of these things are imminent so why not see how the above plays out before getting even more riled up

The Elon musk ramp was started and entertained by one person only so it’s hardly anything to talk about lol…if it was started by the usual ‘rampers’(which some I’m sure have put me in that category) then you could get a little concerned haha

Saying that some scrape the barrel on the deramping side saying stupid statements like “13p here we come” or whatever the fook was said earlier :)

Great post Wookiee…and let’s not forget the low cost re-completions works that will be starting in December/January on 6 wells in CC that will give us C. 2400 bopd(400 per well) in oil production once finished…for context our current production is around 1,400-1,500 so that’ll be a BIG jump in production.

Shaa I also found it strange when Art reiterated recently to me that drilling will commence in January although my question to him wasn’t about that lol…

Last time I checked we either needed more casing or the JV for it to go ahead so something must’ve changed…but we’ll see if anything comes to light in the next few weeks with a red dot appearing ;)

That fact we’re BLUE is something to get excited about! And we’re now 4.69% up :D
