Shows what a substantial JV with a large oil company can do to COPLs sp :)

I disagree… In my humble opinion if at any point we had news that a re-completion attempt was made and had failed this early on in the program the SP would most certainly go down.

Every well re-completed for Frontier 1 boosts the case that the vast amount of oil sitting in there can be recovered in large quantities…very important for COPL and the JV which why they were very interested in the first re-completion and was given the data as soon as it was confirmed to be successful.

Quite a bit of news flowing today…true or not? We’ll soon find out…

I do have another piece of news to add which is a fact…the WOGCC have just approved(In some cases work can be started before this has been received) the CC 12-23 well to be re-completed for Frontier 1 production…

There is basis for both things mentioned to be true but remain sceptical until RNS…

“Construction of the BFSU Gas Gathering System Upgrade is to commence on April 29 subject to weather.”

“At the CCU, a second Frontier 1 recompletion will commence in Q2 once surface access restrictions due to melting snow and spring conditions allow.”

The weather in Casper(Today 22c) has been very good lately giving the right conditions for the above to happen.

IF another well has been re-completed in Cole Creek it can only be one of these two wells as they’re the only ones with notices of intent filed in preparation for the work…

Then we’ve just had confirmation the gas gathering system upgrading works have officially started and a 2nd re-completion in Cole Creek for frontier 1 production has been done and has been successful…

This news is VERY positive.

Important step in transforming this company into a mid-cap.

The lead cornerstone bondholder has converted a minimal amount of bonds(6 at $1.2m) to date compared to the their total holding and hasn’t converted this year…majority of the selling has been by short term holders of the bonds…

The outstanding amount of bonds is below…

Anavio(Cornerstone Investor) - $27.6m
Other bondholders - $5.4m

Even though the full document on the AGM & special meeting was released on Friday we knew(well clearly not everyone lol) of this plan quite a while ago…

On the 4th April COPL notified the meeting date had changed and that the AGM will also include a ‘special meeting’ but did notify as to what is was for….

Personally this was engineered by the bondholders imo as they want Art to revamp the company(website, communication etc.) and squeeze in pre-authorisation for future consolidations if they choose to do so but asking for the highest amount so they don’t have ask again(although any consolidation would still need approval separately as and when the board want to go down that route)…

Could be some other mechanics behind it with the JV so close and ‘commercial terms’ now being discussed but the above is how I see it…

Stas fair point…However if there was any discrepancies in the size of the discovery do you think the large oil would still be in discussions with COPL for a JV?

In fact they’re more confident in the vast amounts of oil being there after the additional substantial technical evaluation done on COPLs land.

20th April -

“Discussions with a large oil company who approached the Company regarding the exploitation of its Frontier oil resources are continuing with current focus on commercial terms. These discussions, as well as the identity of the party involved, will remain confidential until their disclosure is appropriate by agreement. Substantial additional technical evaluation has been undertaken during this period, which has led to a better understanding, and increased confidence, of this resource.”

Also looking forward there’s a number of things that will be taking place in the coming weeks/months;

* Gas gathering system upgrading work which should’ve started yesterday but let’s say should start within the next week

* CC re-completions for frontier 1 production…New notice of intent form submitted to the WOGCC for another well

* A JV could also arrive at any time as terms could be agreed and announced at any time

Stas why do you stay invested in COPL when you clearly have strong hatred towards to the CEO and by your most recent posts think this is all a sham…can’t be healthy can it?

It seems like COPL are preparing for their next growth phase to transition into a mid-cap company under the close watchful eye of the lead cornerstone investor(Anavio)…looks very positive going forward and we should be getting more frequent updates over the coming months.

In other news lol…

GGS upgrading work should be starting today with the temperature 20c and clear blue skies in Casper…

Would be good if the company can give a small update next week to confirm this has started :)

I have a feeling COPL may get the 2nd re-completion done in Cole Creek during next month also…we’ll have to wait and see if they pull it off.

It clearly states…

“…to be done in separate consolidations at such time at the discretion of the Board”

But a lot are talking like they’re going come out after the AGM(30th May) IF consolidation is approved and go…

“Hi everyone we’ll now proceed with 1000:1 consolidation”

If you’re not happy with what’s been put forward…vote no.

It literally says this in the document…

“The exercise prices and the number of Common Shares issuable upon the exercise or deemed exercise of an stock options or warrants of the Company will be automatically adjusted based on the consolidation ratio selected by the Board”

I see the name change as part of a wider revamp of the company which would be very welcome as one only needs to take a look at the website and social media to see things need changing.
