I don’t think the lengthy JV negotiations has anything to do with COPLs current production… All about the structure of the JV and how much dosh the JV party is willing to cough up💰

Wording changed recently so I think they’re aligning on price but still need more time to work out the way forward in terms of drilling etc. which will no doubt have to be looked over by the internal team of the JVP…

Main thing is… “This group has done substantial technical due diligence to date.”

And… “COPL has also done extensive additional technical work on the project.”

So for COPL to still be in a position to say… “The company more than stands by its initial assessment of the resource.”

Taken from the presentation yesterday…

• A large Oil Company approached COPL in September 2022 inquiring if we were interested in a partner to appraise and develop our Cole Creek Frontier oil resource.

• This group has done substantial technical due diligence to date.

• COPL has also done extensive additional technical work on the project.

• Discussions/Negotiations are in progress on the terms and structure of a Joint Venture.

• The objective of the concept is to end at an early stage EOR project similar in nature to the BFSU Shannon miscible flood.

• COPL's understanding of the BFSU early stage EOR project through its ongoing reservoir simulations provides substantial local knowledge to the JV.

• Miscible solvent's evaluated are CO2 and LPG enriched gas used at the BFSU.

• The company more than stands by its initial assessment of the resource.

This stood out… “progress on the terms and structure of a Joint Venture”

To me it looks like the deal when revealed will be much bigger than some are expecting. Art is clearly factoring in and pushing for second stage recovery from the off and is probably why the deal is taking so long to sign, as the JV ‘structure’ has to be very carefully planned leaving no stone unturned…

This was also interesting… “Miscible solvent's evaluated are CO2…” as it’s the first time Art’s declared he was looking at this in an official release and we know CO2 pipes run close by to COPLs field…

I still stand by its only Exxon who would be the suitable candidate with the resources they have but happy for any major/large oil company to take COPL under its wing :)

Correction… 4 wells completed as of yesterday😊

So much doom and gloom most wouldn’t of noticed we was notified of the above yesterday lol

Monthly oil figures released yesterday showed ‘BFU 34-20v’ which was one of the first wells converted from pumping to pumping-flowing had an 100%+ increase in flow rate after works were complete…

March - 97 bopd / April - 207 bopd

The well is now flowing oil at at higher rate than at its peak rate which was in March 2022(164 bopd)

How many other wells are being converted to the same high pressure flow patterns? Up to 16 wells(3 now completed as of yesterday)

As we’ve seen with the above these well conversions are having an ‘instant’ impact on production…MAY oil figures should interesting😊

Just looking back through the presentation released recently and what do I find? BFU 34-20v was part of the well conversion program

This makes it interesting as that means the well conversion on this well from pumping to pumping-flowing resulted in a 100%+ increase in flow rate…

If COPL were able to replicate this on multiple high producing wells they might shock a few with their current oil production figures if he decides to release that information today during the AGM😎

“Oil production on April 17th was approximately 1,000 Bbls/d (gross), with 350 Bbl./d (gross) shut in at the BFSU for a flowing to pumping-flowing well conversion and production facility repairs.”

What we should be focusing on is what are the current flow rates today now some of the works planned have been completed🛢️

Both Exxon and Chevron have their AGMs on Wednesday. The Norway sovereign wealth fund is talking both companies up because of their commitment to more eco-friendly industry. Norway's sovereign wealth fund is the largest in the world and are major investors in both companies (considerably more in Exxon)…

‘Impact Exploration & Production LLC’ continues to target the Frontier formation with horizontals 12-15 miles NE of our federal deep unit…

A few days ago they got their 4th horizontal targeting the FF approved and also got authorisation to fracture stimulate the well which is scheduled for drilling in June…

Some may wonder why this is of interest to us…simple really…they’re targeting the same formation which our potential JV partner wants to sign deal with COPL for and they’re in close proximity to our land so data from them can help us estimate future flow rates for when COPL gets the delineation program started :)

The AGM/Special meeting is on Tuesday at 6pm UK time.

That’s correct nogamble everyone is entitled to voice their opinion through voting. Next week we’ll see what the majority think.

Art doesn’t need to go anywhere….he should stay as CEO which I’m sure the voting will confirm and get on with doing the work which we don’t see and might not appreciate to turn COPL into a solid mid-cap oil company🤝

The AGM could come with a few nice surprises including some new price sensitive information.
