When do readers think the Government will off load their stake and what impact will it have on sp? I have remained a cautious supporter of the Bank with a modest number of shares and might top up if there is a dip. I feel the connections between England and Ireland are actually a good thing as Brexit proceeds rather than a liability. Any views on Brexit impact?

I am concerned by the possibility of share dilution, wait and see.

The sp seems to be pushing gently upwards and while the Government Review is a worry the market can see beyond that. Easy to understand business, making money and people continue to gamble in good times and bad.

I own shares in Cameco and Energy Fuels as well as BKY. Cameco and Energy Fuels sp trend over the last month is encouraging and suggest a glimmer of things to come in that they produce Uranium and have survived (so far) the price collapse. My interest in BKY is in its location and that I feel the EU might want secure supplies of fuel in the future. We live in strange times, Frau Merkel a Physicist by training was happy to switch off the German Nuclear Power stations on the basis that they might get swamped by a tidal wave yet blithely ignores the thousands killed every year by air pollution from German made Cars with cheat devices. Nuclear Nein Danke but VW Yah????

This mornings results lifted WH by 9% and I remain hopeful of another bid from 888. I agree that the government review in the autumn is an uncertainty but the online gaming figures are encouraging and WH is an international brand.

Good news over at WH saw them gain 9% this morning, should add a little something to the sector. 888 cheap at this price imo.

Cairn up 3.3% Parkmead down 5.59% Cairn sat on cash, reserves of oil but no production or income other than interest while PMG producing income from north sea gas but sp sharply down. Fishy or am I missing something obvious?

Disagree, had a large chunk in Cameco purchased 18 months ago and was about £7k in profit at one stage but sold when it dropped to buy price. Repurchased a few hundred shares this year as it is a large producer and I am not convinced that the Canadian Gov. want it busted by a tax case, the lawyers will do a deal. Like any investment it is a punt and as regards any uranium stock a risky one at that. I remain of the view that globally low carbon electricity is a must have and nuclear one of several reliable means of production. Prices will rise and surviving miners will recover, some very strongly.

Someone is shorting the shares to depress the price until the majority holders can force a privatisation on small investors at a knockdown price?

Or reasons to hold and see what unfolds. 17% improvement in online trade, perhaps a chance of market consolidation and a better dividends.

India? What is the story, must have missed that. Would be hard to get around Indian bureaucracy and they have a bad rep re tax, Cairn another of my holdings. I think the price reflects the uncertainty about UK Gov investigations but the financials and yield are encouraging.

Thinking in Europe seems so heavily skewed in favour of renewables it is hard to be optimistic about new nuclear power plants because politicians do not make rational decisions on energy security.

Small company, illiquid shares so share price can stagnate or yo yo on small trades. Is the technology good? Is the order book filling up? Is the company making a profit? How much debt? Answer those questions and POS worth a modest punt for the patient investor.

I have followed OXB for years and left some time ago as the breakthrough never came and the sp was all over the shop. So now looking to buy back at in if I can get sub 9p. Yes well done to all those who rode the downs and ups but for me I prefer to invest on real positive news. Does this mean it is the next big thing? Nope, it may yet fail FDA hurdles but the recent news is promising and Novartis know far more than me. If they are in partnership then OXB has to be producing convincing results.

Delay is the enemy of share price recovery as doubt remains over what the Government will do when the review is done. I remain invested because I believe a marriage between WH and 888 possible and it is a fact of life that in recessions people still gamble. Unless we are missing something due to an accounting scandal then PMG looks well set for the future as it has survived a period of low prices with little debt and some interesting oil and gas reserves in areas close to the uk. I believe there will be a dash for gas come the first hard winter when renewables fail to deliver and the lights go out. Gas is not only a source of domestic and industrial heating but also a significant fuel for generating electricity. THe UK cannot return to coal but we could quickly build gas fuelled power stations to take up the slack. I remain a supporter of nuclear globally to provide base load but in the UK and EU eco politics have damaged the industry beyond repair.

I bought 10,000 within the last hour. To me that is a modest punt in support of PMG. Why? Because I looked at the company financials on the FT and they look attractive, little debt, income and some useful north sea reserves at a time when UK power may need more gas. Now where that gas ends up coming from is open to debate but at 42p the company looks interesting. DYOR as they used to say on the fool when it was free.
