One of our old posters here is over on twitter and says he has heard a rumour re take over.

Something occurred to me, why would NM have said in last interview that bids would need to be a couple of billion dollars instead of saying we are in a position to defend any bids?

Needless to say there are a number people speculating about the rise being linked to a take over offer

I guess they would say that, I personally think this rise is due to the new discovery, but I hope the first bid is on its way this month.
