I'm happy to wait a little longer for this, I think the end of Summer will be the time it comes and by my own observations there are still thousands of metres we are still waiting for, bearing in mind they have drilled 70k since MRE, we certainly haven't had that amount released

Very exciting IMO, and it seems there is more high grade than the earlier modelling predicted :_)

I also believe behind the scenes there will be some interest brewing and they will be keen to find out exactly what NM is expecting IMO

Extension drilling at Alpala Central continues to intersect shallow high-grade mineralisation above the existing resource limits, along the southwest margin of the deposit, in a large lobe of early diorite intrusion hosting high-grade mineralisation to within 450m of surface, approximately 250m closer to surface than previously modelled.  For example, Hole 60 has thus far intersected over 110m of intense visible copper sulphide mineralisation, including chalcopyrite. Hole 51 final assay results returned 476m @ 0.75% CuEq (incl. 194m @ 1.28% CuEq and 52m @ 3.51% CuEq).

Extension drilling at Alpala Northwest and Alpala Southeast also continues to enlarge the Alpala deposit. For example, Hole 49 final assay results returned 444m @ 0.83% CuEq (incl. 268m @ 1.12% CuEq and 120m @ 1.57% CuEq) and Hole 53 has intersected over 400m of visible copper mineralisation and over 190m of strong highly visible copper mineralisation.

you could be right mate, PEA is underway and a revised resource estimate should give us some indiction of what its worth. especially iff the bids start to come in.

possibly but I think maybe you feel like that as the SP is low, as Shippy just said things will be ongoing behind the scenes and shares do often drop before a bid

its a shame we don't get many posts from investors incl long termers and newbies about the positives.

institutions have been buying recently at higher prices too, in terms of pi's, I would imagine most have taken a position after being here for years.

shares go down as well as up on the journey from small explorer to sale of a resource.

It is obviously concerning for anyone who is having doubts with the SP decline, guess that happens in share dealing/investing.
I think the market is now waiting for confirmation that we have an economic resource, which could come with the revised MRE, a progress report on outstanding results, or of course a buy out.

Tbh the market could take us back up before this, just as they do with many shares in the market.before another bull run
Sometimes a rise is random and a decline can last many months, as here, but it doesn't mean it will stay down here!

Not sure most long termers will have constant funds to keep topping up, the buys will come back in on the turn IMO, as many will be waiting for a turn around /reveral before committing

to be fair it was a while ago now, not long after MRE, that they said it would be end of Summer. they have also said this year.
I think NM wants to make sure it has a big impact and possibly every 3 months would not have done the trick.

Granted one could justifiably say not doing so hasn't done the trick either, but I believe this is a transition stage where we are close but not quite close enough for the market to take notice.

Its interesting that if one thought this was a buy in the late 30's/40's, with possibly half the resource or less than we have now, that it could be considered value as we stand, 20% lower than the 40m invested at 25p.

NEWCREST thought so at 40p ish

I imagine someone will be buying big at these levels, mates rates and all that!

Columbo yes a bid could come any time but I think NM knows and expects us to be much higher than this before a bid comes in With MRE upgrade and PEA and what ever else progresses eg wind fall tax changes Just a bit more patience IMO before we start heading in the other direction again I’m willing to wait and believe confidently we will get 60p+ for Cascabel
