One thing for sure. it is wrong to blame pi's for this, he got our votes at the AGM, huge delays and a struggling SP, only one person been responsible for where we are now, which IMO doesn't have to be viewed as negative for those looking for a good deal for share holders.
He has done well to get us this far IMO, however as some of us have tried to express, majors get what that they want in this game over companies like us.
There is no reason I can see why we would only get the sort of low prices Bozi was expecting last night.
My bet at this stage would be on a three way JV of Cascabel or a sale of SOLG for the lot with some shares in the majors thrown into the deal.
It was said all along by people ins the industry that this would need a consortium of majors to take it forwards and I believe NM's ambitions to go it alone was a step too far, if rumours are true then surely this is the main catalyst.
There could also be political reasons where by the government have the deal they are looking for in taking this forwards from here.
Seems likely either the Chinese or BHP/NCM will take the reins if NM goes, but there is no way he will be giving away his own huge holding for peanuts.
