If there is truth in the article then surely it would be appropriate to release an RNS.

As usual we are always the last to know.

Truth is NM is still in charge until he isn't and he has this time to try and get the best deal for himself and other share holders.

If he thought we were heading for increased dilution towards BHP and NCM getting 50%, as has been suggested by a few on here, then he has the means to stop this.
If he wanted to leave a legacy as an emerging major, then he will be equally as strong minded in trying to get the best deal he can.
Addicknt is correct in that many underestimated the result of the AGM, with regard to being able to do placings to sufficiently fund the exploration going forwards, it wasn't just about NM remaining control.
As a result he has to change stratgey and maybe this is why we have heard the news we have.

As such he should be working now to get the best deal he can either in a sale or JV.

For all we know at this stage it could have been the government have stepped in to speed things up .

Only the board can ask him to leave as it is so unless he has chosen to go, which is unlikely, then the new more Independent board must have decided his goals are not in the interest of share holders.

That's the point Bozi, what did NCM do wrong? nothing is the answer.

Majors don't need and wont act in the interests of companies like ourselves, thats how it works.

This does not then mean they will get what they want for nothing, they will have to pay if they want full control.

It's not black and white, hence the idea and concept of debate and peoples RIGHT to have opinions without abuse or insults.
