May well need pi votes this time to put through their resolutions

Seems the majority on here will vote in favour, although it is by no means unanimous.

I disagree, we don't need more dilution at this point, we need to get value for share holders, current strategy is not working.

You can't take the drop to 10p this year as a great result to get to the 3o's, we have been higher several years ago, so something is not working and many pi's know this.

I won’t be getting involved in the forthcoming new repetitive argument of who will vote which way on here.

We shall have to wait and see, although I’m inclined to believe NM will struggle to get the resolutions passed as he wishes, too many missed deadlines for me and lack of any substantial news until very recently.

Could be very close which is why he’s taken the unusual step of asking for pi’s votes.
One of the resolutions was to continue with PFS, which was promised weeks ago!

With NCM, CGP and BHP it will come down to pi votes

If you did a survey on here I’d guess at it being 50/50 on who will be voting to keep NM in charge.

It’s always a big vote of confidence as they know more than we do about what’s going on.
He did the same at just over 3 pounds, then recently around 8 pounds!

To this end the common argument on here by some of a ‘diverse book’ and the percentage holdings involved, really does not stand as any defence for a major who wants it/us.

Admittedly some of us have expected bids for a long time, however one has to admit with recent coverage in various articles, it certainly does seem like we are getting close.
Maybe we won’t get a bid, but I’d be very surprised indeed if we take this to production alone. It will go down in history as a major achievement for NM and his team.
If this is the case. with regards to increasing share holder value we will have to wait a while to see how this materialises, or not.
Personally, I think majors would need at least the PFS to justify to its share holders a purchase of such value.
For this reason maybe NM is hoping for more drill results and another discovery or two before the PFS, I just wish he wouldn’t give self imposed dates that he never seems to stick to.
For me it’s simple, why would the majors leave SOLG to become a major? It’s all about consolidation/amalgamations/ take overs, as the Barrick CEO has been discussing recently.
He also said if there is a gold/copper tier 1 available that they would look at it seriously.
