I think any placing involves a company being given info the rest of us aren’t I could be wrong and technically this isn’t supposed to happen but I’d bet that BHP were given info on projections that we haven’t been yet

I think its not one or the other tbh, rather they were given some info on what we currently have and expected, but also are able to extrapolate info and come to their own conclusions about how big this could be and the economics.
