Summary of my targets27 Jan 2016 07:39
My personal price targets in FAST for short, medium, long term along with reasoning are as follows:
• Short term (0-4weeks): 5p
• Medium term (1-3months): 8p (likely to be in suspension during this time due to RTO)
• Long term (4-12months): 15p
Short Term Reasoning:
Is based on technicals. people catching on to what is on offer here with:
• 2.8p cash (£9.5M) / no debt.
• CEO Cathal Friel buying all other significant holders out with £880k of his own dosh at 4p (note - this was 100% premium to SP at the time) which enabled him to secure the change from O&G to Biopharma in the vote – he wouldn’t pay such a premium if he wasn’t very confident of a move to biopharma.
• Recent appointment of Harry Stratford – only now have people started looking in to this guy’s credentials. He was the founder of Shire – one of the UK largest Pharma Companies MC around $40billion, Harry started from a room in his house with his wife, he was founder and CEO at Shire for a decade. Following Shire he started another Pharma company from scratch, ProStrakan and built this to £300M MC.
• Charts: Golden cross emerging. Golden Cross indicates a bull market on the horizon and is reinforced by high trading volumes . Additionally, the long-term moving average becomes the new support level in the rising market. Technicians might see this cross as a sign that the market has turned in favour of the stock.
Compare FAST with other shells and I cant find any with the director credentials and cash/MC ratio even in the near ballpark. Most with these director credentials are trading at 200% premium to cash minimum (and to be honest I think FAST now has best director credentials of any AIM shell).
Medium Term Reasoning:
In the next 1 – 3 months I would expect some updates giving the market more detail in to the targeted Biopharma company being lined up for RTO, with likely share suspension until RTO deal completes. Things we know are that Biopharma company being targeted is in the European market and has products near/ready to market for near term revenue generation with global scalability. I think the recent appointment of HS reinforces that the deal being worked will have fantastic scope to be scaled up to huge European/global markets.
Long Term Reasoning:
SP of 15p equates to a Market Capital of around £50M. If we look at MTFB, junior biopharma company recently to market this is a good example of lower end of what we can expect with FAST in the first 6 months of RTO.
An investment should always be based on risk/reward basis IMO. With FAST downside is backed up by 2.8p cash and v small cash burn, therefore limited…. upside - just google Harry Stratford.
