JD isnt worried in slightest it seems.. which means bidstack have been lining up the ducks behind the scenes to release to market as soon as they feel theyve got checkmate position. From the podcast it seems July will be this point... Remember he says BIDS are far ahead of what they have been telling the market.

TBF also competition is welcome, its a huge market, all about crystalizing the first mover advantage and BIDS has the team now to do just that.

You will even be able to play 4k games on your tv screen which opens gaming up to pretty much every household in due course... infrastructure already in place!

Its the interconectivity of it all thats insane... you can jump in to games straight from youtube videos and pick up where the other person left off.. this is what Bidstack were saying about being able to target the secondartly video market where the adverts can also change live in real time and targetted to whoever is watching the video as well as in the game.

Fascinating learning about Google Stadia. Such an exciting space for BIDS to be positioning their offering for. Upside and reach is pretty mind boggling...can see advertisers will be fighting for exposure to this huge global market.

Folks, the placing has been and gone and now in the rear view mirror. Went to select bunch of professional investors and 3 institutions.

I added few more at 17.8p on this dip and ideally want more 17.5p zone.

And to me the way they will be "so far ahead of the competitors" is by locking up the major developers (epic games?) on a 3 year exclusive to bidstack contracts. Just my own thoughts but not sure how else they can be so confident... thoughts?

Indeed, unless James and Fran are lying (I very much doubt).. they are absolutely clear in their podcast interview that no one has done what they have achieved before and esp with the pixel dropping tracking capability added in (advertisers are requesting). They are aware of all the competitors and as they say themselves... they cant tell us yet what all that they want to as they don't want to give a roadmap for these lot to chase after them. By the time they show off their offering in its full glory (they say July) they will be so far ahead no one will touch them.

Hence I provided the links to the interviews as all of this explained by them on there. Always best to hear from the horses mouth and make your own mind up.

Thechukkers Bidstack hope to be the largest advertiser in the videogaming sector (including bigger than mobile pop up ads) globally by 2021 YE. So really you have to join the dots to where the evolving market is headed with native in game, clearly James and Bidstack see the gaming streaming shift will open up native in game ads (far more natural and less annoying than pop up ads). Yet pop up ads in game (ie advertis in games) are still effective and more effective than social media.

Use the current info and see where the market is heading.. to me its fascinating.

Lets face it the markets is colossal so more than enough for multiple new entrants to have a slice of the pie and do well. But its about riding that first mover sentiment wave which will be about here for the next 12-18months. BIDS aren't putting a foot wrong at the moment so we can only judge them on what we have been given. There is a reason they got another raise in to expand asap... its fast moving and extremely exciting!

The biggie, the huge opportunity however is the gaming shift to streaming ala the spotify model. This is where BIDs are really ahead positioning their offering already speaking to the likes of google. This shift will open up gaming & therefore adverts to multiple times the end users. Then add in secondary youtube viewing audiences where in game ads can also be changed in real time to suit viewing audiences (insane). This will mean people will be able to play high fidelity games from any device no longer having to own a £400 console or £2k gaming PC.
Ad impressions in an already colossal growing market could go up as much as 300x according to bids!
