MMs are maintaining a big spread to stop day traders from buying while hoovering the impatient traders/weak hands shares. We'll see some recovery back to 7.5-8.5p (min.) soon.
@Bing007 I very much agree, there are two screens on my desk, one of them only showing NCYT's L2 and I can assure you that someone is manipulating the share price to buy in bulk while tightly controlling the BID/ASK.
Currently the L2 looks like a compressed spring waiting to be released!
Mousekewitz , it’s not but I hope we’ll get an update from them next week. They hold 1.22% short position in Amigo since 18th of Dec 2020 which is the only >0.3% short position here.
Investment firms have their MCap investment criteria. If the MCap of A company within their portfolio drop below the average investment criteria then they have to sell.
I think this is what happened here & I won’t be surprised if Whitebox picked some of Aberforth shares to close its short position.
The selling pressure this week has been substantial, Aberforth Partners LLP Sold 5.78% of Amigo’s shares since Monday that’s 1.926% per day, almost double what James Benamor used to sell per day last year.
Saying that, the share price held well and bounced off the 52-weeks low. I can see a technical bounce back to 8s.
“ Hi DebtCamel, this blog post is misleading customers, as an administration will provide no ability for an Amigo customer who had a historic loan to get any payment for a valid complaint they might have.”

RE: Timing of Company Fine from Serious Fraud Office21 Jan 2021 21:10
NewKOTB, even IF there will be a large fine it definitely won’t bankrupt the company, Petrofac has £5.46B in assets, £2-6B in revenue, CASH £857M, a credit facility in place and pipeline business of £5.5B.
