From Twitter:
"On 31 Dec, #NCYT had £92m in cash despite unpaid DHSC orders
Till 31 May, they had £47.7m of Non-DHSC revenue, and with estimated £10m/mo sales - by end of this month that'll mean £74.7m in non-DHSC sales YTD
This converts to ~£40m cash giving total cash posn of £132m
Again that is WITHOUT factoring in £88.4m of unpaid DHSC invoices
We can assume a much larger % converts to cash as 2020 overheads were already covered to get to the FY2020 bottom line
Say 80% conversion, that's another £71m cash so totals £203m cash position for #NCYT
BoD said in FY2020 results that even in the unlikely event the DHSC win the dispute, they will get replacement product NOT cash, so the invoices will have to be settled
So #NCYT will in essence have £200m CASH by the end of the month..
..which is the current MCap!
Let that sink in
Enterprise Value (EV) is now £0 despite the lower threshold of non-DHSC sales being £7m per month
EV is now £0 despite significant IP ownership
EV is now £0 despite us being at the height of Covid testing
My opinion derived from my calcs is very clear - spend £x buying #NCYT, and you in return get your £x in cash back and then get ownership in a lucrative company for free
I'd moan about sellers, but then I remember that they're the ones providing us with this amazing deal!
