Is now a good time for me to buy Boohoo shares?

With it trading at under half the price of its all-time high, is now a good time for me to buy Boohoo shares?

I think long-term the firm’s decision to invest in expansion through new warehouses and acquisitions should put it in a good position in years to come. A continuation in rising revenues is also an attractive reason for me. As such, I think Boohoo would be a solid long-term addition to my portfolio at the current price.”

Where will the Boohoo share price go in November?

“ I think the firm is only becoming cheaper by the day. It is a rapidly growing e-commerce leader, with a cash rich balance sheet and significant consumer visibility. If the market does not realise the value, a competitor will, which could mean a buyout.

As such, I do not know where the Boohoo share price will go in November, but I can say that as the stock gets cheaper, it will only become more appealing as an undervalued growth opportunity. That is why I would buy the shares for my portfolio.”

So that puts Boohoo on a forward-looking price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of just 17.2. To my mind, that’s incredibly low given the speed at which the company is growing (three-year revenue growth of 200%), and the power of its brands.

At that low valuation, I’d be happy to buy Boohoo shares for my investment portfolio today.”

DEBENHAMS looks set to be making its high street return after shutting its physical stores earlier this year.

Every Debenhams store in the UK shut for good earlier this year after a drastic decline in profits. The company was bought by the Boohoo group which moved all sales online, now, Debenhams is set to make its high street return

A job vacancy has opened for a Debenhams Beauty Assistant located in Manchester.

The advert says: “As a Beauty Assistant, you are an essential part of a team that delivers the extraordinary service our customers expect from Debenhams Beauty.

“Maintaining the highest of retail standards, keeping up to date on product knowledge and replenishing stock, customer service is at the heart of what you do.

“An expert for all things Debenhams Beauty and the go-to person to help our customers, you are fully knowledgeable of everything about the store including the latest trends and services we offer.”

The salary for the role is not disclosed in the advert, nor is the exact store location.

However, rumours suggest it could be based within the Arndale Shopping Centre in Manchester and could be the only one of its kind.

Motivations for reopening a store come after it was reported in June that some beauty brands had refused to supply products to Debenhams unless it had a physical store presence.



To combat the problem, Boohoo Group chief executive John Lyttle told the Times the firm would open one small Debenhams outside London, insisting it would be “one store and one store only”.

Boohoo bought the 243-year-old department store for £55m in January this year after sales collapsed.

The decline was in part due to the growth of online shopping and accelerated by the Covid pandemic, with Debenhams entering administration three times last year due to lockdowns.
