The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
"Each of these suppliers and contractors remain focused on the discipline of our timeline and both their and our own teams are WORKING AROUND THE CLOCK to improve it."
Good to see the finish line in sight, maybe not as quick as some had hoped but the team sounds focussed on getting there.
I see the uninvested are still really upset at any delays, not sure why, doesn't really affect them!
bv, investors could get in now and with a bit of luck be sitting on a 300% profit in the near future ... let's see how this plays out!
nhawan: "Who on earth would sell if the sp was sure to get past 1.5p(according to the rampers)?"
According to the rampers, that's funny ... wanna have a guess which 'ramper' also posted the following or are you suffering from amnesia:
"This should be north of 2p over the next few weeks."
"The company is worth at least 4x the current sp so expecting some serious fireworksm especially if there is real interest from buyers."
Very underhanded. Possibly a chance of it being voted down tomorrow?
Isn't it amazing how someone's (or should I say nhawan's) narrative can change like the wind? Of course, nothing to do with being in/out or trading ANGS at any particular time. So transparent (and these are only a few examples):
"This should be north of 2p over the next few weeks."
"Whoever is interested will probably be forced to pay a premium if they haven't already started buying up shares at this low price."
"The company is worth at least 4x the current sp so expecting some serious fireworksm especially if there is real interest from buyers."
"Not looking quite as positive on the charts as the rampers like you to believe."
"Looks like pi's are the only ones buying and the placees offloading in the background."
"I would not be surprised if this 'For sale' RNS was just a ploy to let their mates out before the some bad news comes."
"So your suggesting that he bought a third of the shares then Dyam."
Nope. No idea who has bought/sold - except for my tiny purchase of 100k shares to average down!
Good to see a decent volume though as the increased liquidity will make ANGS more appealing to investors/traders.
"But the volume this week hasn’t been sufficient for that has it?"
Just over 240 million shares traded since the 'sale announcement'.
"Love how all the rampers keep posting price targets. It's as if putting a figure down will somehow make the sp rise to that level even while it's in retrace mode."
It's called the 'Law of Atrraction' ... if you believe in that sort of thing.
"It should be obvious to most that the sp has ran out of steam for now and is heading downwards to a probable test of 0.8p from the charts."
Thanks - so we should get our buy orders in for that level ... or could be a bear trap and 1p holds ... or we can just wait and see, not sure how reliable charts are for ANGS.
"It must beg the question though... why are two relatively substantial (1%+) holders inspired to sell out right now? "
Probably overspent on Christmas pressies and are desperate for cash?
*sentences
You'll have to excuse any typos!
WG, I hardly ever use them on social media to end sentances. Apparently it's quite common:
"Full stops intimidate young people when used in social media communication as they are interpreted as a sign of anger, according to linguistic experts."
"A 2015 study by Binghamton University involving 126 undergraduates found they perceived text messages ending in a full stop as being less sincere than the same message without a full stop."
"As I've said, let's wait till after the (E)GM and end January to see if things become a deal more clearer."
Very sensible. However, maybe a little impatiently I bit the bullet and have added!
Has made a huge dent in the double digit average I've had for years, due (in hindsight) to poorly timed purchases made 2016/17 and subsequently. I have a feeling there may not be many more opportunities to average down given the expected newsflow.
WG: "You should be concerned about the dilution that those 870million new shares would cause however."
Why?
@b-b you're entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts.
I won't embarrass you any further on this topic, it feels like I'm engaging a walking talking Dunning-Kruger case study. It's a waste of my time (not yours).
In closing, some figures for rumination:
IAG shares held: 0%
Time spent on an IAG forum: 100%
b-b: "if I am told the sp changed 0%, I have the start price, 142 plus the change, 142x0=0, giving me and end price of 142."
Your own method of calculation gives you an end price of zero ... as you've proved to yourself, and not 142.
b-b: "You must be quite illiterate ... you are in fact showing a staggering degree of ignorance in maths and especially percentages. "
I find it laughable that someone is trying to pit their pitiful grasp of basic numeracy against my mathematics background. Suspect you're unemployed (or unemployable) given the time you spend being wrong on here.
So according to b-b a zero percent change in share price results in a share price of ... zero!

big-blue: "This is becoming a very illuminating insight into the thought patterns of some people here. So revealing!"
It certainly is. By the way, what answer did your calculator give you when you asked it to calculate a 0% rise, or are you going to dodge that one?
142 * 0% = ?
"Come on guys, remember to use the correct wording, big-blue will be angry.
IAG shares have risen 104% so far in Madrid today..."
Ask him to stick a 0% rise into his calculator and watch him implode. Clearly he still needs to brush up on GCSE level maths.
142 * 0% = ?
big-blue: "They are terrified by a superior intellect they can not countenance. I've experience this many times when my education status is revealed."
When you're in a hole, stop digging. Following link may also be of help.

"As blinding obvious as you can get, same person, multiple avatars. It is embarrassing to watch."
Yes. It's all a conspiracy!
