One of the best articles ive read in a while, we have 3D printers, Razer cutting and make Cast Forges here but nothing of the scale of a 7ft long piece thats a lot of Precision Engineering and could take 18 months at minimum. And its mainly for Softer steels and aluminium, Titanium Casts are not overly abundant as its just costly material. I could imagine a 7ft long slab of Titanium would cost more than a Bughatti, and as much to machine into a final component, and not at speed either as its a Durable steel to manufacture, I dont mind it but id rather not do batches of it. This looks a total game changer, they will still require final precision engineering once completed to ISO and other specifications but the waste properties nulified is a huge appeal

You need an awful lot more Data to perform an upgrade to Estimated and will need test work, verification etc but thats not to say the results wont give good to great indications of what track its on, but the official upgrade in MRE will likely be 2027 late 2026 at a push would be hugely impressive but its too early to tell without knowing future Drill campaigns abandoned their specific targeting
