Yes, 15 you can find many, maybe you should list the ones that do it well and successfully, there will be many. Highlighting the ones that struggled, isn't really much use. More have, than have not through out the decades.
Red, I'm not jumping in its just I don't know the challenge to scale concerning this tech, the kiln, so I'd ve hard pressed for you to know. Or many here, so it just sounds like pouring cold water. You do not know, that's the jist of it. But you say it so certain, with a laundry list of tasks.
Manufacturing parts? Well I'm a precision engineer, I make many many parts, from most materials to man. Its not difficult or time consuming, even titanium I'd do it in a week, between me, the fabricators and any subcontract treatments needed. Just send the specs. I'd say they would he aluminium, cast iron and stainless. Perhaps titanium or heat resistant alloys, like hastelloy. All pretty standard. If they resource in UK, many engineering company's can do it faster than China.
I think testing will tell all, and scaling be part of it
