Guys - get real - the so called high volumes - aren't that high either!!??

This is why I saud these should have been sold to rre ages ago. I know there wasn't a formal offer on the table but it just didn't feel right the way the self serving
"management " just closed the doors on any discussion whatsoever.
Certainly not my industry experience but there you go.
All the munters on here have criticised me for bringing this up but perhaps even they are starting to see sense with a 25p equivalent bid so many years ago?

Moleinahole - totally agree with your all your points on last post - except for the comments re ridiculous price at this time - that is simply the market and the fact that LOG are "probably" "forced" sellers and due to the mismanagement to date here - there are not that may buyers - as people are just waiting for the next management banana skin RNS!!
It was pleasant to have such an informative (relatively clear) one yesterday - didn't like all the information in it - but that's the way it goes!

Come on - are we saying the MM's are all masons and shape shifting lizards as well?
The information was less than initially expected from analysts due to lower profiles and delays offset by higher prices.
Yes we are pretty cheap - but there are no conspiracies here - it's just a self serving (lower quartile) management discount - if this produces a take-over - all well and good to the sellers now - but that's just the way it is!
I sincerely I hope I'm wrong but this should value out around the 40's mid summer - hopefully - gas price allowing - which has really rescued the "management" here.
One can be too in love with a share without explicitly seeing the "weaknesses" and then when things don't hit the values one expects they "see" other reasons for this "discount" - perhaps we have just over-valued the shares?!

Peakview - I am shaking my head in disbelief that I am still holding here - in the vain hope we get some "real time" information regarding volumes - then we will see a revaluation - not to the halcyon heights you guys are talking about - but certainly higher than recently. LOG selling down is a complete non-starter by the way.
I personally think the "management" team have lost their confidence in posting anything "real" as if they muck this up, surely heads will have to start to roll, so they are buckling down until they can be 1000% certain that they get the profiles correct for the medium term, then hopefully they'll feel "brave" enough to issue the historic rates, with a two-three month "look-ahead"!?!!
Christ think about it, wouldn't you lose your confidence if the following happened to your team(s) - starting with the TW debacle, "outing" the capital structure and it's weaknesses, the "big well(s)" with their big CoS's which have come to crap all, the "relationship" with Perenco, the (truly embarassing) drilling debacle (where was (timely) plan B?!), the "last minute" budget over runs - and now to cap it all - they refuse to issue current guidance or medium term guidance - who could blame them?!
I think the "market" smells this (under-confidence). That's all.
When they finally get around to grasping the nettle - and hoping it is reasonable news - I think we will see a revaluation - but being a few quids in already and looking around elsewhere - I really want to stay (but am finding it difficult) for that last bit of "puzzle" and just wish they'd get on with it?
It is simply all IMHO and DYOR of course - wtgr to Alligator he should be writing (spy maybe?) novels instead of bb analysis, as there seems to be a certain bit of imagination there!!

No it's not a mystery guys, there are a few other examples of AIM or even main market shares listed at 50% to "asset value" - the main thread to all of these is that, they have lower(est) quartile (and self serving, lol) management, but nice big LTIPs (!) - pretty simple really.
The non publication of current profiles and expected - through to the end of year - is the latest "joke" - again simple.
I can't remember the (poorly written RNS's or be bothered to look up but) what exactly is mid year or a few months as from memory, it was this sort of vague reference used?
Whatever it was, again from memory, it was written in such a way that there was room for flexibility to "say" this was within the boundaries of what had been previously RNS'd?!
Is it June July August - who knows with their track record to date and Southwark first gas expectation changes etc, lol?!

Alligator - it is simply a lot of smallies selling because some are lucky enough to be in relatively large profits or just sick at the lack that expected "revaluation" did not appear and no other party has much confidence in the "management" hence no buyers - IMHO.
The irony is - the "management" can sit around doing not much (what changes?!) get taken over - some keep their jobs but all get their LTIPs?! Should have happened ages ago and perhaps now - some can see why I have been spouting this for "years".
Edgar before you turn up criticising people like me, (as you oft like to do) please post up your "letter to friends" from AEX - written years and years ago and give us the share price - revalued for dilutions - back then. along with your fawning about what an "achiever" B Hall was, lol.
I absolutely agree there is f all "management" can do about LOG (but don't think share price weakness is due to that particular issue at the moment) however, it has to be said and appreciated, it was "management" that led us down this capital structure in the first place!!

Why not,regardless of volume if they are all sales - the price has to find it's natural equilibrium - which is what the MMs supply - nothing more nothing less - to say or imply the MMs are speculators in the market is just crap - and quite naive IMHO.

Singapore two things MM's can only "manipulate" prices short term full stop.
Valuation of o&g isn't really about earnings it's about cash flow and less so, earnings, IMHO.

Come on guys don't be silly.
This is beyond scraping the bbl when the mms get the blame for the share price.
Short term potentially but certainly no more than a day or two or intra day.
The people to blame for share price seemingly out of kilter with "true value" are management of the company simple,
not the mms, lol!!

Thanks very much for your feed-back it is interesting to hear and thanks for making the effort to go - I personally never bother anymore (for various reasons) but it is nice to hear other POV's regarding informal chat etc.
I'll be clear though, I do take umbrage at your comments regarding "ubsubstantiated (sic) wildcat negativity" as somewhat patronising. I can't be bothered to go into in too much detail (as there is so much!) but it would be good to read posts over on ADV as well.
Of course the past is the past but when so many mistakes and the nature of them have been made - it really is necessary to take notice of them.
The material ones (from my perspective) at the moment are IMHO - BS structure - been the elephant in the room for a long long time.
Ridiculous CoS quoted re "reserves" only to be written down post drilling (look at the past!!), the recent drilling debacle (let's hope they have a good drilling man onboard at IOG to oversee the "drilling service contractors") and the fact that we have a lovely glossy PowerPoint highlighting 1p,2p,3p,1c,2c and 3c reserves resources at some point in the future (?!) but an inability to provide a forecast on current production profiles and through to end of year profiles, (simply WTF - we are only looking for an estimate)??!!
The massive uplift in actual versus budget forecasts at the very "last minute" - again something for the future?
LTIP's also designed to motivate people to stay - yeah right on "man" !!
Why didn't they RNS drilling re-start as well? I know technically they didn't have to - but is it not an "achievement" of sorts?

I does appear to imply drilling has restarted and technically does not have to be rnsd as they stated last week it would restart this week but IMHO fing laughable they have not done so. Again just fing "weird" but, I suppose it's been a total f up since day one so they probably think better to not fanfare the restart, as really it should never have been in this situation in first place?

Agree re other poster regarding timing of chemical injection issue - just think it is another cluster f to add to the ever increasing list and whilst the technicians on here were talking about (possible) "fast" (normal) turnaround - which is what I'm used to - you can't expect anything from this motley crew!

Agree and to be honest these "things" (not knowing exactiy what fault is) don't happen that often and certainly not as often as the motley crew here?!
