Look at the FACTS - supposedly bad news over on operator of Wressle update and EOG suffers - why?!
Because of the operator mis-managemnt of course but more importantly because this company is so reliant on Wressle news now!!!
Why? Because previous mgt. issued confetti continuously to chase a risky strategy!
No-one else to blame - that's it not a few tired posters on a free bb board - but previous (and to a lesser degree current) "mgt."!
Calls for that previous mgt. to "come back" because they "showed their face" or "put their money where their mouth is" is quite frankly ridiculous - at least since they have gone the share price has held position as opposed to be constantly reducing!!
I have a lot of time for Oil is the Future but I think his criticism of current mgt is a little unfair - "everyone on here" gave previous management multiple years of continual share price decline. Think of the mess this "mgt." have inherited.
I'm not saying they are better etc etc but at the end of the day until something happens in Morocco or Ireland - sadly all EOG news will dictated by Wressle - and that destiny is "controlled" by that operator - NOT EOG's.

It's actually quite complicated sometimes as internal temperatures can exceed 100 centigrade as well - obviously for larger concrete structures but thought I'd mention that as well whilst we were discussing concrete.....

Hi PB2 - been in and out of PHAR / SIA for years but only small amounts!
Just got fed up with the EOG "gravy train" but it's a fair price now for someone to purchase but with relative high risks?
Re PHAR, I think currently undervalued but just my opinion and backed by NAV - certainly with recent oil price strengths.

I think regardless of obvious management "limitations" this should really be valued in the region of £140MM assuming they can get the rights money working up the Egyptian "assets" constructively. CNE just taken a relatively big stake in Egypt and this "could" be an indication either from themselves or others of interest for a certain size company in working JV's in this area now?

Lol, UJO and RBD. What a fantastic combination. I'm sure you're well quids in Selfish!! I will not bother to explain why your personal investment "justifications" are wrong "mate" but suffice to say 6 of my 7 oilers have done very well during same period of time whilst holding EOG and I'm in loss on only one of them (now sold). Can you (truly) say the same?

Hey PB2 - I just got fed up with the placings mate, especially after that loan. I personally never took part in any of them. This is certainly fair value at this price with some potential upside - just from my perspective and risk profile can see better value (for me!!) elsewhere.
We all have different reasons for selling and I hate to say I was still in about 35-40% profit (because I know a lot of long termers on here suffering) and certainly do not want to sound like gloating. I would have long sold out long earlier because what got on my nerves was, I bought for a diversified asset base and didn't feel it was highlighted enough of the change of that strategy (i.e. effectively all Ireland) and had I wanted that I'd have bought PVR, who were clear that was their strategy and in my opinion had better (Irish) assets as well however, was under water for a long time but, was luckily able to average down and get out at a profit. Best of luck to everyone, all IMHO and DYOR.

Selfish don't be ridiculous, the Irish couldn't give away the "assets" in the exploration rounds and a large amount of them have (already) been written off. It was a very risky and to be quite frank stupid strategy but Hugh should've been reined in by the BOD at the time as well.
In his defense he certainly believed in what he was doing and put his money where his mouth is which is great.
By the way everyone on here will be happy to hear I finally cleared out my holdings recently but will pop in from time to time to see how everything is going - already about 15% up from my average sales price, lol but I think me and a few other "larger" sellers may have been a bit of "drag" as well! All above imho and dyor of course.
