Hi Spa, surely any "compensation" would solely be limited to the (direct) costs of fitting said valve. It will be very difficult to prove it was faulty in first place and if it were solely a faulty valve and not linked in some way to other (design) circumstances why was the the valve (fitting) job approved in first place? Again surely the QA (agency) of this job should bear some of this "compensation" if this were the case?
I'm sure David S could better advise on this of course?

Recent share price weakness could be the traders leaving or as per previous IOG experience leaks regarding operations f ups "on-site" and the company finally admitting to them about a month later - which is too late for loyal holders.
Let's hope it is only (impatient) speculators leaving (early)?
I don't personally expect to hear anything Southwark related until early to mid-December - purely because as someone posted earlier - flaring permits aren't easy to come by (but should be easily available to see for timings etc) and I have no idea regarding timelines de-watering the pipeline so to cover all that cannot see the area being fracc'ed until early December - could of course be earlier but am just being (hopefully) conservative there!

Mole I don't agree, get 10% on board and we could call a very very embarrassing EGM requesting removal of certain neds (what fing value have they given and when are "they/she" getting the sack?!) . However doesn't matter as fundamentally you are 100% correct regarding ii structure which as you may know (ahem) has always been one of my main "issues" with this motley crew. Am only pleased LO and LOG are suffering like us now as well.

Wolster69 - I absolutely agree - I couldn't understand why they RNS'd it in the first place. I have a hunch it was just a very poorly managed drill team as these kind of issues - unless extremely unlucky - are generally surmountable.
I think what people were saying and quite correctly this was absolutely not an issue in that it was nowhere near the reservoir.
My main gripe is that a lot of people invested here expecting the management forecasts of "reserves" to crystallise - 100% - no issues at all. That is not an unfair presumption but my own experience here to date was that they always seemed very optimistic and as another poster on ADV mentioned there seemed to be a continuous "positive" "management" assumption on issues that was always found to be wrong.
As I say I am happy to buy at 10p plus / minus 10% expecting to get 100% return if Southwark comes onstream as currently forecast.
I forgot to make my point 5. below - as currently on holiday / business at moment so will not be posting again for near future - but
5. The next day pricing at moment relatively weak (contagion) but expect that to reverse towards December New Year hence ironically with such reduced reserves at the moment this 4 week break could not be more timely - again - lucky pricing effect - "helps" IOG poor management to date, lol!!

I personally think FWIW - 10p the new base ...
1. But could get "weak" during the Bacton close plus 2 weeks for "other" stuff.
2. Don't know wtf was wrong with Southwark that continual "junk pills" would not have solved but again wtfdik - the drilling "performance" here - below abysmal - but as ever all IMHO and isn't this new guy an expert SNS driller - which was so obviously needed - what years ago?
3. Any talk about take-over will be limited way below 20p with what we know to date - oh for paper RRE at or around 25p years ago?!
4. I am a happy buyer at or around 10p.

Peak, I gave my misgivings as soon as she arrived so not sure who was first then??!! I do not know a company she has been involved in that has done well, whilst she was there anyway? To be honest too late now for these but here's hoping some improvement moving forward, IMHO.

Deltalo do you really think after yesterday's truly horrendous RNS that it is "only a months delay" that is the concern around investing in IOG?
The issues and concerns for me are too long to list when posting on a phone but moles generous post goes some way to summarising position here except talk of a take out from here, can only be very minor chance, IMHO.
I'm just glad LOG et al, who supported the arrogant management team, not to even discuss possible terms with the likes of RRE, are likely truly sweating now but very sad for the investors in LOG.
Perhaps the "management" team here, can put their hands in their own pockets and buy some more stock again, rather than issue incentivising LTIPS in the future from this low share price , as this would at least reduce worries, about further "discounted" funding requirements, even lower than the last ones, lol?
