I sold all of this about 9 months ago. I had intended to reinvest but spoke to brother in law whi is surgical director of 3 nhs hospitals. He said attitudes in nhs are swaying away from automated monitoring. Im still considering a reinvestment though.
I saw drosso post earlier... Spot on! Someone close to me got burned just today and i know it hurt. Seems quite a cruel system right now. People will always fancy a profit.. Understandably. is a shame loads have likely lost a lot.
let's hope it doesn't again become an event! The selling is I assume because the news regarding NHS deals has not as materialised as yet. Likely there has been some delay. I hope it is just a delay. Everything was looking pretty rosie a couple of weeks ago. I am hoping this is simply an over reaction to delayed news. I think it might be time to inform us of what is going on.
Yes this bit of news has had some impact. I actually thought the RNS would be reporting sales and imminent installations. I think when that RNS comes, this will rise a lot more. I don't think I'll be taking profits at 10p, I'm thinking perhaps a good bit higher which I think if all goes well quite likely within the next few months.
Yes it would appear that this was known.
Yes they have firmed up on the Daily Mail article. I expected a rise in SP. I imagine the NHS might feature in some questions today at the AGM. Even so I'd expect some increase in trading. And it's way below average today? What is going on?

see: http://www.healthcare-today.co.uk/news/new-patient-monitor-hailed-as-a-game-changer/25238/ Another good article. ..CEO Anthony Sethill said: "Research from the trials we have undertaken has clearly shown the SensiumVitals system delivers its promise of early detection to enable early intervention.... The system was the first of its kind to win FDA 510(k) clearance in the US. It is CE marked in Europe and is attracting significant interest from hospitals across the globe.....
Also from the comments I read on the article, those by nurses etc. all seemed to be right behind sensium vitals. This is vital I think, many systems fail because of lack of user buy-in . So I found this very encouraging.
Sorry about the repeats in my last message. Another good quote from the article: Professor Sir John Tooke, president of the Academy of Medical Sciences, said: ‘Vital-signs monitoring is something that is not done particularly well in NHS hospitals. ‘Human factors get in the way: staff get distracted or called to what they perceive to be more urgent matters. The proper application of this type of technology will be better than human measurement alone. I think it’s the future – as long as the technology is robust and subject to rigorous trials.’
