Not sure if I read your post correctly but are you suggesting that you don't believe the major US banks such as JP Morgan are not involved in the manipulation of the silver comex price? You are aware that previously they have been fined billions for doing just that but accept the fines as a price of doing business?

The paper price of silver is absolutely rigged and anyone who can't understand that is best not stepping into this sand pit.

The overall play in my miners portfolio is based on my belief that eventually silver will have to find its proper price, which I feel will be forced to rise based on the supply constraints.

I didn't have cash to buy physical silver so invested a significant amount in a portfolio of miners. I am riding out the highs and lows with an end goal in mind. The "noise" along the way is frustrating but expected.

Perhaps a tad naive to think that the Chinese being away from the silver market will have no effect on the silver Comex price? That is what is currently driving the miners SP changes rather than the realistic value of silver.

For the chartists out there we have just seen a classic inverted head and shoulders with pretty strong bounce back.

Fres recovering very well so far this morning.

This massive sell off covered most markets and hit them hard, all PMs took a hit but not the same percentage as silver. They didn't run to gold as a safe haven although it has recovered better from the dip.

Whatever triggered this was way beyond a plan to smash the silver price down again.

I wonder if we will see the 23.00 smash down to add to the fun?

If it is "spoofing" it is on a grand scale as all the markets have been smashed!

Wake up guys! This is across the board, banks, virtually every type of share tanking.

Can't see what news is driving this but it is worrying.

Everything going a bit sideways today, consolidation before the next move up.

I've been comparing a few miners to see how far they have recovered from the silver bash down, relative to the silver price and Fres isn't doing too badly.

We will have to hope that Q4 results are pretty good and the silver price a bit higher before the RNS comes out. Still pretty sure we will see a bit of a dip so be careful if running tight stop losses as it should recover fairly quickly.

Don't want to get reported for ramping old bean, I enjoy posting here while I sit watching the prices on IG Index. As you can see when I was actively trading I used to post a fair bit. I took a break but couldn't resist getting stuck in to the silver thing.

It really has been fascinating to day to see the pressure in either direction. Gave the old nads a squeeze today and topped up on one I think will do well, now fully exposed to mining shares in my PF with a six figure total .

Seeing a lot of buying pressure now at back around $84 Had a sneaky top up on one of my Yankton miners, the name of which I obviously cant mention, but that chunk is in profit now and helped bring down my average.

No fat ladies hear singing yet but quietly confident that we are possibly on the up.

It is fascinating to watch! The battleground is at around $83, it is getting pushed up and down around that level. Definitely nothing to do with US jobs news, this is yet another smash down using that as the excuse. Fres seems to be doing about as well as any of my miners right now. I get the feeling that once they stop pushing down it will come back up pretty sharply.

Institutional level selling, knocking people out on news that has nothing to do with the silver shortage. If anything a good economy will only accentuate the silver shortage problem.

Wonder how fast it will recover once they have had their fill of knocking it down?

From a post on X I strongly doubt that NFP numbers are going to be positive. According to another source they need to add circa 100,000 jobs per month just to keep up with the number of working age people.

No problem, I honestly had no intention of ramping the penny share that I mentioned, at least I didn't mention the ones that are going like a train at the moment. 35 large ($) in one at $53.194 and it just hit $60.78 😊😊 A couple of others on the yankton that should shoot up if we can hold the gains today.

Strong push through $84 for silver, pushing 85 already. As usual Fres about the slowest miners to go with the upside move. 🙄

Some busy buyers overnight! The 6 o'clock hour saw the biggest move while the 7 o'clock was higher volume but a smaller price move.

For the chartists out there we just hit a double top at 84 and bounced back slightly so we need to push through 84 and target 86 as the next step up.

I personally don't think that conventional chart thinking has much to do with what we are seeing happening with silver. The fundamentals are way different to any of the historical silver bull markets as the industrial supply issues are a massive factor not previously seen.

Isn't he just reporting on Comex contracts and silver availability? I must say that I find it quite interesting but each to their own.

Ref. Deals done outside of Comex.

The miners SPs are currently tracking the Comex price up and down so it will be interesting to see how they can be rerated to the actual share value based on the prices they are getting outside of Comex.

I'd be surprised if they were not already selling direct, it doesn't seem as though Comex is able to restock currently?

Agree to all that you say there but still won't be surprised if we see a bit of a dip then Q4 results come out.

Signs are that we could be heading for a doji day today before another move up tomorrow perhaps? We have seem a pretty strong recovery from the last big dip.

This guy posts some interesting stuff based on Comex holdings.

You have to wonder with the obvious supply squeeze that is imminent why there isn't mite buying pressure. Perhaps people think that a force majeur is inevitable?

Will CME still be in existence this time next year? I personally think that a better system will be demanded by the industrial lobby but the banks will not easily give up this money making machine.

Interesting times ahead but try as I might I can't see how they can continue to suppress the price of silver.

We seem to seeing a more normal trading pattern with silver since the smash downs. A couple of strong days upward then some sideways consolidation. Hopefully the upward trend will resume shortly.

I saw the red candle start to form last night and initially thought we were off down again but this time it was different and you could see buying pressure each time it dipped. I went to bed unsure of what would happen overnight, which thankfully wasn't another smash down
