Working on behalf of the English group Sound Energy, the Italian company will be supported by the Moroccan consulting firm Sinmarco.

The total investment amount is set at $ 25 million for the construction and operation of the LNG unit located in Tendrara, in the province of Figuig.

The implementation of this unit has been entrusted by Sound Energy, which holds the exploitation permit for the Tendrara field, according to the Hydrocarbons Code, to the Italian company Italfluid.

Managed by Ahmed Fouad El Filali, the Sinmarco consulting firm has been appointed to support the implementation of the project. The project will be financed by the American bank Exim Bank, the Italian Simest as well as other Moroccan banks.

Sinmarco is expected to provide legal, fiscal and financial assistance throughout the period of the project and the operation of the LNG production unit. The duration of this project is planned for 18 months and the operation of the gas production unit itself will be five years.
