QBT have been highlighted as a top mover with great potential which is a PR firms wet dream....

Christian Taylor-Wilkinson could be asleep at the wheel and an investor pointing stuff out could wake him up

I'd like to see an update on QBT's PR outsourcing and I have sent Leander PR an email requesting they at the very least change their website from CL to QBT.

I find it difficult to understand how a PR firm has failed to get QBT any coverage in BTC related news companies. There are enough of them out there ffs.

Reports indicate that Intel, one of the largest computer processor manufacturers, intends to reveal a new “Ultra-Low-Voltage Energy-Efficient Bitcoin Mining ASIC” known as Bonanza Mine at the upcoming IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference in February 2022.

Intel submitted a patent in November 2018 outlining similar ideas for "high-performance Bitcoin Mining." It is suspected that the processes described in the patent could make their way into the product being shown off at the ISSCC.

According to the patent, the ASIC behind the Bonanza Mine will be able to finish calculations just as effectively as other ASICs while eliminating the need for repeated or redundant computations. This system is proposed to reduce overall power consumption by approximately 15%.

FG has stated that they are working on several different approaches to disrupt BTC mining and there are bound to be some obstacles along the way...

Is the 'Optimized SHA-256 datapath for energy-efficient high-performance Bitcoin mining' the same as ASIC UltraBoost ?

Maybe....Maybe not so much....

But FG has set out his strategy on several fronts to mitigate risk and optimize success (imo of course;)

I suspect Intel news was partly timed to send a message to the US lawmakers by the tech giant...

Intel seem to have already inked a 'Bonanza Mine' chip supply contract with small Ohio-based GRIID is set to go public via a SPAC merger on the New York Stock Exchange in the coming weeks with an expected valuation of $3.3 billion. It will trade under the ticker symbol "GRDI."

Intel have a couple of mining patents themselves that I hope are perhaps similar but not not same as QBT's ASIC UltraBoost or recent R&D optimizations.

I'll have to do more digging on Intel patents

Certainly the Intel Bonanza Mine chip news has been well reported and bodes well for QBT if FG can get all those Ai mining if's lined up :-)

My research suggests that there are 15 unknown blocks that have Terra Pool listed in technical details for January.

Block rewards averaged at 6.3 BTC per block gives Terra Pool 94.5 BTC so far this month.

My next door neighbour works on the computer systems/ code for MM's....In her words MM's do their homework on each company in great depth and she seemed to suggest they only covered 5 or 6 companies each (maybe big caps?) she has also repeatedly stated that although they 'play the game' they generally don't try to fix the play.
There are systems in place to flag that sort of thing, which is the code she mostly works on.

NR1 seems to have a very good grasp on how they operate...(probably an MM lol ;)

I guess the water is slightly muddied by zcash mining but BTC mined by Terra Pool should be exciting (even if the pool is shared)

I ask because Terra Pool mined blocks come up as unknown on https://btc.com/btc so not simply to track. Some investigation into this months 'unknowns' would show how many were through Terra Pool and this could be used to work out monthly Terra Pool mined blocks against Argo's declared mined BTC.

What has become apparent to me is the randomness of blocks being mined when CK Pools, a pool for direct mining individuals or businesses recently mined a block for a user with what looks like one mining rig...

I watch MARA Pool where daily stats are easily tracked and that randomness is very apparent in their stats.

My point being if Argo are sole users of Terra Pool blocks mined can be tracked as they happen and they could in theory be very lucky at any time. Mara Pool recently mined back to back blocks but in balance they also go days without reward.

I think I will keep a track on Terra Pool from here but if anyone is keen enough to check historical blocks against Argo's monthly mined coin that would be of interest.

If Argo for some unknown reason get lucky and solve/ mine far more than their hash would expect then it might be smart to be ahead of the market...(you guys probably already have this base covered and i look like a twat)

I may be way off with this one but if I'm reading this correctly there is a requirement to inform the company but not for the AIM listed company to report to FCA....
Or am I totally wrong on this ?

With so many potential catalysts for this one to rip for me it's just a case of when...

Maybe next week, next month or next year but news of mining, collaborations, further R&D developments or any number of positive things could move this up in orders of magnitude ;-)

The recent solo mined blocks highlight that a single mining rig is able to mine a BTC block with a huge amount of hash in competition.

No reason to think QBT mined these blocks or that QBT have selected to use Solo CK's services.

The industry's news outlets have ignited the possibilities which does QBT's efforts to optimize algorithms and mining rigs no harm.
