Thanks for the great well-balanced commentary ISA.
Good Luck all. I'm wearing a nappy cause i'll either get rich or end up getting divorced (Some would argue that's a win-win) :-)
Costa Pittas ...Sounds like a confused salad! The FCA were prepared for the outcome falling in favour of Amigo and were quite frankly just out to spoil the party. I suspect, as mouse stated on this thread the FCA want to secure several more million in compo so they can show they are doing something. I am mystified by the language; it's like a Boris lockdown speech: We will support your scheme, or we won't; We will sue you or we won't; we will attend or we won't. Hang in there peeps, they're just another hater
Hey Amigo's
Ever have that feeling that you're falling in slow mo? Been trading Amigo since June, done well, then went all in with a fairly sizeable holding and in August the world was a great place- me thinking I had caught the road runner. Since then it has felt like that comedy moment when Wile suddenly realises he is not-longer on the cliff and begins to fall. I'm averaged in at 12.6 and watching the share price over the last few months has been like watching the ground racing up to meet me (especially the last few weeks) and preparing to go splat! Thankfully this last week has slowed that right down. So is there finally light at the end of the tunnel or am I just a Looney Tune for going all in?
That's All Folks :-)
Hi SoundsRisky, In a similar boat with all my chips on Amigo! We're onto a winner bud!
Small World Hillman, i work for Manheim, know all the GMs and most of the Auctioneers.
Master plan is to be out by my 50th... 7.5 years and counting. Mainly plan to do this through properties and have a long way to go but am on the right path i think (Rich Dad Poor Dad). I'm averaged in at 8.5p so once that triples (Positive mental attitude) i will withdraw 50% and buy either more properties or reinvest in other potentially lucrative prospects HYVE and alike. It all depends on timing. Either way fingers toes and everything else is crossed
I am almost glad the sp didn't skyrocket today. The price WILL RISE, however our expectation must be tempered and realistic so we don't ride an emotional roller coaster every day. Hang in there fatbloke this is a very good investment; the bloke's only been in work a day :-D.
Mark hope you're well mate? I can tell how much this means to you; it's more than just money it's our future on the line here. Your posts (present and historic) make it crystal that you know what you're talking about; as for Dope, well the name says it all. I'm with GCN and Shezer on this. I feel shattered catching up with mess the little terrorist has made and he clearly get's off on winding people up and creating worry. This is not a case of Confirmation Bias, investment decisions have been made on the basis of the known facts. It is highly unlikely the FOS will force closure of a profitable (balance sheet provision aside) and more importantly, tax generating business amidst a deepening recession and sadly increasing unemployment. Dope's sole argument does not account for this assuming the FOS' independence means are not subject to any political influence and operate in a bubble detached from the economy.
I'm quite literally loosing sleep over this and i'm sure the baby will wake me up in a few hours just for the fun of it. Catch you all on the other side.
Cheers Mark, good to know mate.
Hi Mark, what did your sister see in the figures to make her feel Amigo is a "no -brainer"?
Itsagame/dnd Agree on Cine. I did have holdings in Rank (felt they were a far more stable business) before i sold out and ploughed the money into Amigo.
Pretty much Bang on Viking. Dprogerson I make it (Well, excel does) 11.62955376p per share for your 158923 shares.
at the present sp value stands at £14,779.84 -3,702.20 -13.62%... As an illustration you stand to make:
SP Value Gain
£0.15 £23,838 £5,356
£0.20 £31,785 £13,303
£0.25 £39,731 £21,249
£0.30 £47,677 £29,195
£0.35 £55,623 £37,141
£0.40 £63,569 £45,087
£0.45 £71,515 £53,033
£0.50 £79,462 £60,979
Hang in there and Best of luck mate
Shezer, great points but you're gonna give yourself RSI mate, you'll need your digits to hit sell one day :-) . It maybe confirmation bias (i.e. looking only for evidence that support your conclusion) but I have never seen a share with so many potential upsides. Additionally, with spiralling national debt, failing businesses and sadly proportional unemployment i do not believe the FOS will not receive the same political support (they might otherwise have) to force a healthy (Tax generating) employer of 345 people (Directors 6*; Senior managers 17; Other employees 322) into liquidation. The timing may just be Amigo's saving grace! As for the * Hamish & Co F*** you very much, Don't let the door hit you on the way out!
Hi TheTT, where did you go to find info on HL purchase of Amigo mate?
