Since the Newmont / Newcrest merger / take over, Newmont have been majorly restructuring and monetising projects, just keeping only key ones.

Colombia was always high risk for the big boys to have full commitment and public visibility, specifically with what has happened at Buritica.

They’ve not really gave up the full project, they still have the NSR and cash incentives and Newmont obviously still have the 10-15% in Orosur.

Argentina seems a lot safer for them, Newmont have Cerro Negro down there, Anglo Ashanti are close by.

Newmont vacated Greatland from Ernest Giles I believe, then Newcrest came aboard, started drilling Haveiron and the rest as they say is history.

Agnico arnt really too publicly active themselves in Colombia, they have a stake in Royal Road Minerals and now on with Collective. We could well be next.

I’m looking forward seeing something happening in the south of Anza, Tha camps already set up there. There’s a 3km vs 3km porphyry system, with vein swarms running up to 10g/t.

From the Mining Journal Presentation, Colombia will then be exploration, one in resource, one in resource definition.. the South, Apta and Pepas.

Then we have El Pantano.. 600km2

Looking to mimic Newmonts Cerro Negro which is looking like a 20m oz project by end of life, one of Newmont cash cows.

It’s also worth noting Newmont are already providing technical assistant for free for El Pantano and Brad has visited Cerro Negro likewise Nemont at El Pantano.

Isle, I think Brads too vocal and active for it to be poor or worse. The character he is, he’s far from rampy and a ‘let the drills do the talking ‘ type character. I reckon he’d have gone radio silent on all platforms had it not looked positive.

I recall him saying to me, before they released the hole that totally missed the mineralisation that he thought that they were drilling in the totally wrong direction. ‘But what do I know, they are one of the largest gold miners on the planet’

He was obviously right, now I believe he’s extremely confident of orientation of Pepas. He certainly seems to excel with the geology side of things and he’s not far bad with the PR side judging solely since the majors vacated the building.

In regards to that other part. Best to totally ignore it. Less engagement, less itll have to say.

I can't see them selling Anza off anytime soon, value will be added as they get more oz's down on paper. Obviously financing that is the big question mark. They'll be plenty of takers looking for a piece of the pie.

I've been keeping tabs on many of the companies active in Antioquia. One for instance B2Gold, who are active in the area, sold $140m of shares held in Calibre Mining in June with no mention of why and what the funds are to be used for. Interesting. Be nice to see some of that come our way. Though mere speculative view of that situation.

To be fair to Anza, there's not many Gold projects on AIM, if any to touch it. GGP's Haveiron is obviously a beast. Starts and goes extremely deep. from 600m ish?

I've read and kept note on, no disrespect to the investors there, ORR. I see them talking about a £300m market cap and the likes. The results from the drilling over there seem pityful, especially compared to here.

It's fair to say, im looking forward to seeing what Pepas provides.

Legal, what value do you reckon would be added to the market cap if Apta comes back around 1m oz?

Worth noting he also had Pepas around 875k, before this new drilling campaign.

Heading back to Medellin riding shotgun on a load of core from PEP-013. Drillers are performing exceptionally well and having such a responsive lab is an extraordinary change from the bad old days of 2-3 months turnaround. Not quite real time, but as close as I have ever encountered.

Aye with such a small free float in issue it’s doesn’t take much to shift this.

AIM market stocks are the majority basically, dilution machines. Look at the likes of vast, prem, orcp, to name a few… Hopefully we can get to double figures before our next raise and it’ll be for a good cause as that’ll be upon successful exploration.

Rob, I think if the directors buy in the near term it’ll be before the Pep12 assay is released, so within the next few trading days.

Brad seems like a bird released, a lot more talkative and vocal publicly and I think that also shows his confidence. If Pep12 looked poor I reckon he’d have toned down and tryed to keep hush.

He’s always said he’d let the drills do the talking, but seems a lot more enthusiastic than i expected he’d ever be.

To be honest I like his wit and sense of humour. I reckon he’d be good company to have a few pints with and i’ll hopefully get the pleasure of finding that out.

Skullduggery did cross my mind aswell. Especially after speaking to Brad and things not coming to fruitition as fast as he said it would. Though I saw it from his point of view and understood the countries, companies, lawyers and bureaucracy involved and relised it was out of his hands.

I understood BT's thinking saying they should go down the legal route, though then i believe the majors would certainly have bled Orosur dry.

That is all behind us now and Brad has a clean slate from my point of view, he has a big job to do with winning investors back. Sentiment is improving and he's started off on the right foot.

2025 will be a great year, anybody whose been here since the drill phrase malarkey deserves it to say the least.

We may possibly look back and laugh it was sat at 2p for such a while, i'm glad i took advantage of it as it seems to be moving at a rate of knots now. True value is still a distance away though for me.

The volume is up about 1m now since about 30 mins ago. Some chunky buys should come through, hopefully the directors putting there hands in there pockets. 4.6m and rising.

I agree Imp, two weeks in from the initial confirmation and we're having daily updates on twitter, RNS's flying in left right and center and it hasn't even started yet. This is just a mere glimpse of times to come.

Finance will dictate the extent of it, but they recently re-iterated the fact they want a rig in the south of Anza (the potential jewel in the anza crown) A rig at El Pantano, Argentina. Aswell as on Pepas. Originally before the delays of the confirmation of Anza return, they apparently wanted this by year end.

Obviously that has been knocked back. News flow will be thick and fast now and should stay like that for the future aslong as drilling continues.
