JC - you misunderstand me. I too am confident about the Inez helium, and by extension what that means for development of the southern dome and potential impact on total Rudyard resource.

It's the hydrogen I'm referring to. But to get to the hydrogen formations I think they have to have made the intended progress on the shallower helium bearing levels. All I'm saying is that we haven't heard about that ... yet ... but maybe there has been progress given what they're saying and planning re hydrogen.

I'm very excited and positive about all aspects of this ..

I'm wondering if HEX has made as-yet unreported progress at Inez. These are pretty big commitments others have entered into with HEX on green hydrogen ... it would be an embarrassing damp squib if there was nothing down there / no production opportunity ...

I know there was a little discussion earlier about possible other investment opportunities etc. going forward to take advantage of end of current crisis. I know there's a lot to be said for diversifying etc, but personally can't see past HEX for the next 3-4 years (if it lasts as an independent that long).

I unashamedly state I'm an uber optimist and am sharing some of my most positive thinking: 20 wells (Bo has mentioned more than once) generating £4m profit pa each (scaled up from the old $4m pre-tax to allow for current circumstances which will prevail for years rather than months); p/e of 8 (conservative vs Charles archers 10); 200m shares, gives sp target £3.20. At that point annual cash generated ~£80m. Say 75% returned as dividends = 30p per share.

Yes it is frustrating not knowing what's going on. You can be sure though that no-one wants the fastest possible progress more than Bo. And no-one understands the scale of the opportunities better. Pretty well all the steps he's taken to date have been right, and he's come up with surprises from time to time which have had positive impact. Hopefully progress being made on several fronts and we'll get a flurry of news soon.

AimMaster - I disagree. To date helium has typically been a small part of the overall cost in its many applications. It's scarcity and security of supply will be better recognised going forward ... but that still won't make much difference to overall cost inflation

Hypothetical question. If I was a very big company in the US and helium was a critical part of my manufacturing process, would I now be thinking that it could be very helpful long term to have my own helium field in the US? How much would I be prepared to pay for the security of supply that it would guarantee?

Going back to the Mr Bomb article, I was pleased to find I was familiar with quite a lot if it, but 1 aspect which was completely new to me was the bit about Gregg Peters, who I hadn't even been aware of before. If you haven't read the whole thing here's a little bit from it about Mr Peters:

In a market like helium, commercial execution matters as much as geology. Knowing who the buyers are, how contracts are structured and where pricing power sits in the value chain makes a material difference. This is where Peters adds real value."

So if things weren't already moving very well for us, having this guy on board (literally) too, esp at this stage as we commercialise, is another absolutely brilliant move.

More and more in the media re helium - a couple of examples from the last few hours below. Lots of emphasis on supply and constraints going to get a lot worse, that they're going to last for a long time, and future security of supply ever more in focus. So much news short term to look forward to esp the step change into initial production, deliveries, income etc. I'm also excited to hear plans for the drilling programme - really hoping Bo has ways and means of accelerating this. Also thinking, with Ingomar on a different field to Rudyard, nearterm work there could add multi-millions (perhaps billions) mcf resource to HEX.

IMHO HEX is going to become absolutely mahoosive!

JC - quite possibly. And in that time wider supply will continue to be squeezed, shortages become more apparent and He price likely to firm further. So all good for HEX.

From what I can tell the He supply system isn't yet truly feeling the squeeze that's coming along. Deliveries are being satisfied from He that was in transit or from still-accessible storage. Those sources of supply will start drying up over coming days / weeks. Then the real squeeze will begin. I trust HEX will be maximising output from 3, possibly 4 wells in this timescale, with accelerated efforts targeting rapid expansion.

Troajan - good point, may be interest in helping progress Ingomar in parallel with Rudyard.

Don't waste time thinking about 'after' ... NOW is the time, anything / everything could change in the next 6 months. Helium in THE place to be now.

You can bet Bo is planning how he can get to target 20 wells on Rudyard in quickest possible timescale. He will have any / all impacted US industry behind him - he's THE leading Helium authority and he's proved HEX can deliver what they need.

Blatav - thanks for sharing the 'tsunami' article. Re 1st 2 paragraphs - I know I shouldn't say it given the terrible things that are happening, but Bo and we investors could not have planned it better to coincide with HEX's transition to producer and completing on-site and distribution capability.
