Hmm, we've locked horns on this before Slater. If you believe what you write then why don't you sell and go where you see a better opportunity? Thinking you were wrong and not changing course, now that really is a killer.

A strange decision, the chart is looking pretty positive with a nice upward channel from the Feb low. Masses of upside potential and the down side has been pretty well tested. Each to their own.

Weird, no problems on Halifax

Hmm, it's a tricky judgement: on the one hand you have a likely market sell-off and significant fall in share price before rallying, on the other hand you have the potential for positive news on production, electricity hook up etc. And when will this crash happen? Maybe the best thing is to sell some and keep some.

Noel, I agree that something serious is going to occur, probably in the near future. How do you think PMs and miners will fare? Sell now and wait for the crash or hold?

It's holding up pretty well given what is happening in the wider market today. Let's see what happens when the US wakes up.

deepjoy - I agree with you. The debt market is looking shaky and looks likely to implode, either sooner or later. Then chaos will ensue and real assets/PMs/commodities will rise first from the ashes. If history repeats itself PM miners will rebound strongly.

My guess is this sell off is in anticipation of the Fed possible raising rates by 0.75%. If they do the market will continue this sell off beyond tomorrow, if it's 0.5% I think some sanity will return and PMs will rise.

Well the patient has certainly taken a turn for the worse. Someone is selling at these prices...

What baffles me is why people sell at these low prices

GS sees recession risk at 35%:

As far as I can tell GS are only right if:
1) global recession temporarily hits EV/battery market - possible
2) the green agenda is dropped - not possible
3) A new battery technology replaces Li - maybe but not for a decade or so
4) fast tracked new supply breaks all records to production - only is the Lithium fairy exists

The problem for Biden and Powell is how to win the mid-terms whilst continuing to screw the people.
Cue more inflation busting nonsense that will destroy the economy whilst they pretend they are protecting the 'recovery'.
PMs will probably take a hiding.

GS were bullish to their clients before the 2008 crash so they could offload their risk - they are not trustworthy. If they say one thing the opposite is likely.
