Hey.
I have held both DGE & GNK for few 6yrs on and of now .
GNK's SP has been damaged more in recent months,
I'm wondering as GNK's SP is down DGE is up, GNK has 3.95% divi to 2.5% divi, to sell DGE and top up my GNK??
So therefore my GNK would become close to 8% weighting in portfolio.
Just seeing that I made good shout on this fund back in January when it reached a bottom. That was luck...
Now, what do we do now that we've gained % from that climb??
MYI is now just barely hitting a premium today around 1.5%. Still a buy for newbies...
Thanks Jamesy for your input over the last month or two about this fund.
Out of interest, what's your average yield over your whole p/f? Mine stands today at 4.51% was 3.8% till a year ago when I started swapping gains in stocks to funds & trusts.
I will look at buying here maybe end of June.
I'm voting to leave € for similar reason.
PLEASE #VOTEin € referendum as if you don't and turnout drops by 45%, analysts have said it will give us a OUT vote as it will be the older generation that vote every time.

$44.87 Brent crude oil fut at 3pm10 May 2016 16:38
I heard the boss of Saudi state owned oil firm Aramco says demand in oil is increasing...
Amin Nasser said on CNBC he expected total demand to grow to 1.2m barrels a day this year.
Today's oil price is $44.87 as st 15:18.
I don't know whether with that said this is a good idea to move funds from TEMI at a loss from 680p days, and use to offset CGT?
Unsure if that idea of further dividend cut to 4p could happen this year?
Would anyone therefore buy BRWM instead of BRCI?
Many thanks.
A heads up, that as LSE states a yield of 9.47% on BHP Billitob stock, it's a matter of fact more like 2.9%.
BHP cut there dividend this year, and on current FX rate stands at around 25p payout for fy(8.99p & 16p).
This is stated in the interim results back in Feb / March.
RE: Good to see no talk of a divi cut13 Apr 2016 19:19
Thanks for that.
Do you currently hold many BRWM or BRCI?
i have MYI, MUT, FRCI, JEMI, TEM, STS, maybe might swap TEM & RSA with either BRCI, BRWM or SOI?
Lately Green King stock has stood up very well with the volatility of the stock markets. This is one for this years ISA, along with LGE, VOD, ULVR & SL. So I believe.
Current Standard Life stockholders are not far away from current dividend payout of 12.34p per share, before dividend tax.
Ex-Dividend date 14th April, when markets open new buyers of SL. are not eligible for the 12.34p per share. The current shareholders must hold until close of play on 15th April to qualify for the final dividend. 24th May is payment date.
