I'd say out of my stocks, heavyweights on cost basis are MYI (£11k@760p), JNJ (£11.4k @ $66), TSCO (£9k at av 420p), MI (£10k), 2020 Index-link bond (£11.6k), BNY Global Hi Income. ( £10k), SIEMENS ADR (£14k) . The rest are between £5-£6k. On value, JNJ, MI, RIO, ULVR, NG, BT are my overweights in value... I intend to possibly sell Index-Linked bond soon as QE easing will hurt it.

So we await the H1 results of BHP on 20th Aug to help us continue our disco dancin...lol

Hey Levis, Well, over the next few weeks I will be deciding on selling BHP & trimming my holding in RIO, as Ben could surprise us and start reducing QE... We do have a weak AUD, which will help profits at Aussie miners, but for how long I don't know how Rudd can keep it so low... Remember the saying, "...be greedy when people are fearful, be fearful when people are greedy".

Buy some, and forget for the next 10yrs, then forget about them...and also have a look at Diageo, and do the same...

I had to check RIO's shareprice 5times today to believe it was up 5+%. Put a massive smile on my face on the train home and this girl was just starring at me as my smile seemed to last forever ( hehe )... Now, is BB going to ruin this run up over the next few weeks...? QE3 comes to an end...!

To trade this stock you buy in big orders, me being an investor / trader, I bought this over last 5years. I bought in 4 different tranches and also got into the rights issue of 2009.

Hey, Unless your a trader, targets mean jack all. Especially with Japanese currency war and Chinese government undecided as to how to curtail property bubble... My view is one buys in tranches if your an investor and it will work out just okay...

Its good when you hold something since it went through its IPO, but its another trying to beat the FTSE!

When the ftse does go down with interest rates going up, HIGH div payers will be hurt the most. Shows how much you understand about the stockmarkets!

If you have done research on SSE, you will find out that they SSE HAVE had to get a loan to pay the last 2 dividends due poor cash flow, further, I forsee a dividend cut next year, as they just can't afford to continue paying this high dividend, especially when interest rates do go up, as that's when this willbe hurt the most.

Hi, I am trying to find a message board for Siemens as I am a holder of the ADR stock. What's your view on Siemens growth strategy v GE? I have held both, but sold GE, and money into NVS. The latest news on SI is rather unusual with the current CEO who is stepping down early, wants his director to follow suit! Why not wait until today and announce at earnings release?

Target prices are not to be followed as we don't have the environment for them... Its just guidance for upside & downside. I could chat about many stocks that have target prices and invariably they falter after prices have been set....
