For all our arguments Pete despite how it may appear at times, we have never been too far apart in our overall thinking and it seems right now we are in the same place. It is our approach that has differed most of the time and probably too many assumptions have been made about each other at the same time.

Am I a no opinion?

At this moment yes I am because if the longstop is put back from end of March I fear a further small fall will come.

Unlike many, I do have confidence in the board but I don't have the confidence that the controlling government will play the time frame ball just because we want it too.

It is in their interests to get on with it but I guess they are playing hard ball over a few issues, time will tell.

All that said, I think it is a fabulous price right now for a medium & long term investment so perhaps your Buy is about right!

Some of course being me, but sarcasm is extremely cheap and comes very easy though we can only go on what we are told.

If we are having the wool pulled over our eyes then that will come to light, but until it does, then I prefer to read more into the official line than speculative knock backs.

It may or may not be the speculation proves correct, but I don't see the point in worrying ourselves about idle speculation.

How often does any plan go perfectly in a business like this or any other for that matter. Very rarely I'd say and especially when events are not fully in control of the planner

Even 2p would be a joke price for the size of this asset! When the good news arrives it should be a double hit signifying Licence award and Farm-out completion, which ought to be a huge signal to all waiting in the wings.

When the time comes I just hope they haven't been caught out and lost all their readies in the recent spate of dusters elsewhere

Tanzania relaxes protectionist regulations in mining sector

Tanzania has relaxed the mining sector regulations that require local companies to own controlling stake in multinationals.
Once seen as too ambitious, the Mining Sector Regulations 2018 required Tanzanian companies to have at least 51 per cent stake in mining firms while multinationals were to partner with their locally owned institutions.
The regulations and the Mining Act amendments, which were part of mineral sector reforms, were meant to give the government a bigger share of the mining sector pie.
Additionally, they sought to boost the participation of Tanzanian nationals and firms in multinationals’ operations.
But a year later, further amendments have seen procedural ownership percentage reduced to 20 per cent.

Dip stick getting mixed up

Been away cruising and took in Morocco. Saw at least a dozen rigs parked & docked up around the islands waiting to be floated to sites. Also a nice floating ship rig the sort my other big holding might consider for the shallows at Songo, Songo. That WEST African coast sure looks like it's going to be a busy place.

Rampy FFS you need to look around to see what ramping is all about. I am a pussy cat in that respect. John asked if we were ready and he was happy I brought you a new close up image of the site or did you not even bother to take a look? You either can't or don't want to see good things or the agenda is showing like a skirt tucked in knickers. Do you not think the fact the buildings are bigger than previous might be worth discussing? Yes and regular readers here know all about it and everything other positive negative connotation don't they :0)) Imo many who don't post, would just like to see a little positive news instead of continual wet blankets thrown over everything. Nobody wants to hide the truth but sometimes, just sometimes, people would like to see the good side of the truth!

Right now it is seriously becoming a waste of time bringing any news to people on here at all. I can fully understand now why the company don't bother to keep people informed!

The weather window is important of course and right now I think we need to complete before the long stop date however as always it is not in the companies hands

TBH I couldn't care less about the but, but, buts Mather. The fact is the pad is ready to go and if it's in doubt of going why spend precious funds on the preparation?

Actually, why do you have to bring up a but at all? people are continually whining for something positive and when something does come, the first thing you do is find a way to put a downer on it. Can you not see being ready to go as a positive thing and just be happy about it for a few moments? It would be really nice to give everyone a little break from the negativity spouted on here!

Enjoyed my time in Africa and find it funny watching how they miss my list. Tis the daily topic of some on the ad fn site they seem to be making me quite famous. First on the list will be to collect Marmite from the kennels and second will be to feed him a few tid bits I picked up on my journey but for now it's time to fly home ttfn :0))

If I was a shorter I wouldn't consider signing it myself but I don't agree with the principle of profiteering out of someone else's misery, so I don't do it and I'll happily sign it :0))

Don't we all but I bet his missus has give him some earache for not selling at 7p. The delay has hurt him far more than those here that gave dipped out and bought lower.
