Sure but Fidelity, Norges bank etc represent funds that they were very happy to bring to my attention.
And they all wanted more stock than they weee allocated from what I understand.

Whilst it’s depressing to see the share price on the slide again I did have a chat this morning and here’s a brief summary of where we are.

CEO ….discussions on going between nominations committee and candidate, they are hoping to announce soon and candidate has remained unchanged throughout the process.

Rio ….. first hole completed a week ago but allow 4/5 weeks for assays.

Tandayama…. 4rigs active there at the moment and MRE on target for this year….. there maybe a further update this year but could go straight to MRE

Alpala…. PFS on target for this year

Porvenir….. 3/4 rigs active and still aiming for MRE this year.

Cisne Loja….. still on target to drill this year unless they feel manpower and resources better allocated elsewhere.

I asked about the identities of the new investors who joined us in the April offering
They include Norges Bank, Fidelity investments & Baker Steel ….. all added further to their holdings in May & June as they could not initially get the allocation they wanted ….. there’s a list on here

JV’s …. Talks ongoing, plenty of interest and Covid has been the main problem here with companies unable to visit the sites easily and a 7 day quarantine still in place.

They are fully aware of the seeming lack of interest in the market and ( like some of us ) put it largely down to a lack of liquidity with everyone holding onto their stock ….

Afternoon….. I see it differently to most . Just over a year ago there was a concerted effort to remove Nick Mather it was put to a vote and failed. This vote was brought about largely due to the fact that he proved the company could easily find funding alternatives (ie the likes of Franco) and was not a sitting duck reliant on mass dilution that would only benefit its major shareholders.
There was another $50m available from Franco which was, subsequently, passed over . Nick stepped down ( probably unavoidable) but an “understanding “ must have been reached, which also seems to have greatly placated CGP ….. we then had a hugely successful and oversubscribed raising which sees us funded in for the next year or so.
The big difference here is BHP don’t have us over a barrel ( not like the ggp / Newcrest scenario) and they know “every major has us on their radar)
The question for me has always been after Nick resigned, what “understanding “ was reached ??
This share is as fascinating as it is frustrating , so there you have it ….. clear as mud

Don’t think we’ll ( the company) last that long but if we do that’s ok
