No one said we were owed a sale but the last two or three years have simply been an exercise in burning cash and adding no value when everyone pretty much knew a sale was the end goal .

I’m saying the direction has changed ….. it may not be of my own choosing but I feel that something may now actually happen for a change. With all the bluster from Sangha they need to follow up .
I haven’t always been an advocate of a sale I was just stating the obvious that it was the only logical outcome, from my point of view .
Now all the pieces are “seemingly “ falling into place I’d just like to see this done and dusted that’s all

A lot has changed in a very short space of time and we no longer feel like we are heading in a direction of our own choosing …. Those on the sidelines now appear to be firmly behind the steering wheel and I’m certain Nicks hand in this is still very strong.
Every attempt to raise the company’s profile through conventional means (drilling news , studies and milestones) has been treated with contempt by the market. Rather than fall further into the abyss and throw good money after bad they appear to collectively decided to stand firm against the common enemy and bring together a plan which will hopefully result in a payday of sorts for all and finally bring this sorry saga to a long overdue end .

In my opinion we need to get the merger done next, we’ve basically said none or minimal drilling and all work on MRE and PFS curtailed…..there are two trains of thought now
It’s because we can’t afford it
It’s because there’s no point wasting more money if it’s being sold
I know what I think but until someone shows their hand it’s anybody’s guess

As I said earlier advancing the PFS addendum and MRE2 are clearly now seen as akin to pouring money down the drain. So I’d were no drilling and not advancing these studies ( now seen as redundant) what are the events that will result in achieving shareholder value … it’s not rocket science it’s just a question of who takes it, when & for how much

We’ve decided not to waste any more cash on studies that won’t be needed anymore. This should be applauded ……. Why would the addendum and MRE2 no longer be needed ……. In other words we have enough money to Bob along until Sangha executes “the plan”

Whilst many are quick to dismiss the idea of an imminent sale I believe the signs couldn’t be clearer.
Do they really believe the best way to production is a massively reduced workforce?
The decks are being cleared and the only question in my mind is whether we are selling Cascabel or the lot? …. My guess is the lot with a subsequent ( pre agreed) sale of assets to a third party to follow.
I agree the takeover drum has been banged for years but that’s simply because it’s been inevitable for years even when the bluff was in full flow.

Was fairly straightforward…. All unnecessary spending curtailed as it’s now pointless because we are being sold

He did indeed but not sure we’ll be able to track it down . He also did an interview were he said “if you can’t sell a deposit line cascabel for big bucks, what’s the point” or words to that effect …. I guess all we can do now is sit back and watch this play out for the next few weeks

Steve …. Appreciate your posts but can you simply click on reply rather than start a new thread with every post .
We may have more shares in circulation but we will own 100% of Cascabel plus a couple of new CGP assets so it’ll even itself out .

I’d like to think we’ll get something very soon AGM due very shortly

After all the recent bravado they need to back it up

It’s not just about how much for everyone, timescale just as important for many ….. clearly not slicing up the pie and somehow getting this to production would have eventually yielded the greatest returns.
Personally I believe a bid will come from left field and then the fun will start . I’ve found this story both fascinating and infuriating at the same time but I feel it’s pretty much run its course now …..

Q…. They may not overpay….. but what would you call say 80p-£1…. Many would say that’s still cheap for the whole shooting match but many might take it now ?
Surely Sangha, Singh, Irwin, Mather must have agreed a number that’s brought everyone to the table …. But what’s the magic number?

Added to that they clearly hoped we’d run out of money and come crawling for some cheap dilution …. They wanted this for nothing so yes, if at anytime BHP make any kind of decent offer it will be a situation they have been forced into not their desired outcome.

Fine so say for instance someone offers 40p for Solgold…. You honestly believe they’d watch it disappear for peanuts … or is it more likely they’d be forced to counter bid ?

Stack ….. already outsmarted Henry once ….. I actually believe the Oz deal makes a move for Solgold more likely ….. if you believe they’re bluffing I assume you’ll be selling up pretty sharpish ?

Bozi ….none of us here know the answers but the last couple of pieces of news have been out of left field….. they ( Irwin, Sangha, Singh &Mather must have a plan ….. hopefully they get it right.
