No licences to dig a bucket of coal.

The only positive is that the barmy rampers have been struck dumb and made to look very, very silly.

I am not scaremongering merely reiterating that there are groups in Mozambique that have more enthusiasm for destruction of infrastructure than its development. That makes the sort of project that Kibo is considering vulnerable.

I am a holder of this stock because I am not prepared to sell at a substantial loss. I will remain in the hope that something comes along that spikes the sp upwards. Then like many others I will be on my bike. Just look at the mess, sp down from a high of around 10p and the business stagnating and bleeding cash, two other projects that were described as world class dumped into Kat which appears to have no future at all.

Sonic is very clearly correct. Two "multi-million dollar" businesses donated at a bargain price to Kat with a market value of almost zero. Kibo must be very pleased to have got rid of these two and actually receive some sort of consideration for them. A real achievement.

Kibo's time and money spent in Tanzania is looking more and more like a poor investment and even some of the ramping brigade are beginning to express doubts. It is noticeable that hopes are more and more shifting on this board from Tanzania to Botsawana and Mozambique.

Be warned Mozambique will be anything but a picnic. There has been, for many years, a simmering civil war in the country and there is now a serious IS presence, neither of which have any interest in allowing development of infrastructure. Gone are the balmy days of Samora Machel's leadership. Botswana offers much more of course but without funding it is unlikely that we can achieve the goals that are being set.

that is the problem, the business came to a standstill a couple of years ago and
has made no progress since.

The RNS today is clearly not bad news and if things had progressed better nearer to home it would without doubt be greeted as good news. However, the progress outside of Tz does nothing to solve the most pressing problems

a) Resolving the impasse in Tanzania

b) Funding in the abscence of Sepco investment

Without concluding these two major issues this sp will continue to languish in the trough.

I think that is how it is beginning to feel. The same emotional experience as buying a lottery ticket.

Someone has to win but there are about 15 million reason why that someone is not going to be you.

It is true to state that there is absolutely no evidence that the TOG have any interest
in progressing the MCPP. Clearly they are quite happy with the status quo and I am of the opinion that there will not be any worthwhile increase in electricity supply, this year or next year.

Further, I am beginning to feel that the government is aiming eventually to develop their own MCPP free of all foreign ownership. This begins to explain why most Tanzanians will sit in the dark tonight and tomorrow night.
