That's my question for anyone not investing, what's stopping you? I appreciate you have to have your funds tied up for 6 weeks, but that really isn't a long term investment and most of us aren't day traders. So why wouldn't you put in for very high guaranteed returns based on the current price? I could understand if it was trading at 9.2p or so for a smaller return but we're talking over 30% from here.
Degsy you're not really adding anything to the board with the same posts over and over.
Make what you've made now or make another 30% minimum by waiting 6 weeks. I know what I'd choose...
Muckflash - 27 April is when you will have shares in Newfield. You have to wait 6 weeks to make a guaranteed 30% on current prices. People can chase the rainbow all they want, I'd rather have guaranteed real profit than potential ones.
IG whom I use seem to be able to buy/sell Newfield shares for those that are wondering.
So I just reread the RNS in full. 12.5p offer with a potential 9.77p price based on the diluted value of Newfield shares. Given the potential of the project we could see a jump in the Newfield share price actually making this even more profitable. I very much think this is risk free up to 10p.
Offer made at 12p, it's going to be accepted surely, so why is this anywhere near lower than 12p? And over 50% lower as well?! Free money?
It's basically a gamble if you buy this on whether they get long term financing and a deal with a fortune 500 company to see them raise themselves back up. It really is an all or nothing share.
At these prices? You'd have to be making yourself a huge loss unless you've been a long term holder, in which case I'd still be asking why would you sell as you'd have invested looking at the long term which hasn't been realised yet. Very cheap now, if I had money to top up I would.
More buys than sells with no hidden volume yet we're artificially down 7%! This ought to be heading back up.
Been oversold, expecting a blue finish
Caused by the MMs dropping the price artificially. Completely wrong market manipulation.
Daveavt, if you don't want to buy in, why are you continuously posting on this share? The only possible answer is because you're shorting.
Dave, just curious - what's your tactic on this shareboard? Are you looking to get the share price lower to buy in or just consistently posting negative views for the sake of it? What do you gain from it?
They put my 12:54:31 buy down as a sell - silly MMs!
Cheap prices at the minute, expect this to climb after lunch
We saw 6.7p on Tuesday - this should easily be bit today
There is no placing coming, derampers are talking rubbish trying to push this down. Watch the CEO interview and he says they have all the funding they need. Some big buys coming in, I expect this to hit 7p today.
To those derampers, remember this is a company that is focused on cancer cures. You should want this to be a success. This has the chance to DVR hundreds of thousands of lives. Who can put a price on that?
Pleased this has had some broker coverage. This is insanely cheap and has stayed under the radar really despite Monday's gains. Given it's a conservative estimate of 18p which would still not be a market cap of £100M I think we could realistically expect a price of 30p if a major pharma gets involved.
