Whilst the planning application for the National Distribution Centre (“NDC”) was approved by Warrington Council in July 2019, it was referred to the National Planning Casework unit in accordance with the requirement of the Town and Country Planning (Consultation) (England) Direction 2009.  The decision is expected in March 2020.

By way of update, Eddie Stobart remains committed to the project which represent £75 million of investment and the creation of nearly 500 jobs within the area.  Given the recent investment into Eddie Stobart, the company has the financial platform to obtain and seek the required funding for this exciting project.

Delivering on the project is key to Eddie Stobart continuing to developing its business within the North West and we look forward to being able to deliver on the plan.
