Big sell at 16:15. Someone abandoning ship it seems - ALL 10 shares sold. Clearly investors have lost confidence in the company.

It's me - I made several purchases yesterday. Dozens of shares were acquired.

I ditched most of my Newcrest shares off the back of the bump when the takeover offer was announced. It's not the best managed company, and there doesn't seem to be a coherent/ clear growth strategy so not much to stay for there, and in terms of annual returns there's far more stable and generous dividends out there. Bye Newcrest!

Well here comes some egg on your face - i bumped into Shaun Dey at the cashpoint the other day. He was making a big withdrawal. I asked what for and he tapped his nose saying he was going to buy the mine. It's on the cards if you can't see this I can't help you.

A number of years? GGP will have fcf next year regardless (assuming dtm etc etc)

the 1.9 would be for 70% X*0.7 = 1.9 (bil) so x is 2.7 ish for 100% of Hav. Again i assume this value is based off old PFS data

I'd assumed the 1.9 figure was extrapolated from the PFS way back in 2021

Those calling manipulation are just a bit impatient - getting too close to retirement perhaps and eyes bulging with imagined riches that have yet failed to materialise. Wait until the company actually generates revenue lads - it won't be long! (assuming the management don't screw up)

The only thing that needs 'raising' is raising the alarm if our senior management think we need yet MORE dilution!

The decline needs to hurry up pronto, lest Shaun (Confetti) Day decides to dole out more shares to his chums before we have FCF. After all as many posters observe here - he's not that bothered about the SP...

Will the shareholders get a vote re. consolidation? The whole exercise seems like a huge waste of time and resources (including ASX listing - though I gather it may be needed for other reasons?). Not sure we need to be raising more capital anytime soon either, so talk of that makes me roll my eyes. What happened to fully funded through to FCF?

Patient man's game this 'investing' business. A hit at Juri/Scalli would be nice in the interim ahead of a (probable) DTM, but even if it does boost the SP not really planning on selling anytime soon... Let it all play out, switch off the noise.

I don't think speculating that the company is worth 9 billion off the back of doing 2000 * 15,000,000 is a useful illustration of the value in play. If you're relatively new to GGP or this discussion board those sums are going to be confusing/ off putting.

So to make that add up you're assuming the price of gold is going to average about $3000 over the next 20 years to account for the cost of getting it out? Would love that to happen, but this is unlikely IMO and a little unhelpful - one has to call it out!

Erm - think the sums here are a little off - the ore doesn't levitate out of the ground, it has to be mined which costs money!
