As of Dec 2024, Directors held shares in IES as follows:

As of late 2024, Jonathan Marren (CEO) held the largest number of shares among Invinity Energy Systems directors, with 414,680 Ordinary Shares, followed by Neil O'Brien (Non-executive Chairman) with 300,625 shares, and Adam Howard (CFO) with 134,333 shares. This information comes from transactions reported on December 27, 2024, which followed the purchase of shares by the three executives

These are not sizeable amounts given the context and in particular, all the positive news this year so far so do you have an opinion on why directors have not bought more shares?

Im holding a sizeable chunk more than the CFO and not many less than the non exec chairman!!!! Given the horizon, I would’ve thought management would be hoovering up all the shares they could given we had a 40/50% pullback from year highs. GLA

Media are hilarious! Bloomberg ‘dramatically’ report Golds single biggest daily drop in 4 years - a whopping 3.5% and put it down to ‘trade tensions easing’!!!! Really!!!! Nothing’s been agreed on trade with China and when I last checked, Russia still very much at war with Ukraine and the US debt situation hasn’t changed at all!!! Actually what I did read is that Vietnam is looking to convert its dollar debt to yuan with China so such deals are just another direct challenge to US domination!!!! Regional US banks starting to crack with ‘frauds’ starting to show up to And let’s not forget How many percentage points is gold still up?!!!! Nice little tree shake!!!! Hold for gold!!!!

Anyone who thinks Putin going to just turnaround and go home because of a ‘second meeting with Trump’ needs a reality check. What difference did Trumps first meeting with Putin make?!!!!

Then there’s China who have the US over a barrel on Rare Earths and there’s no way they’re going to soften as they see this as a real opportunity to shift the balance of power. Then there’s US debt and unsustainable tariffs (by Trumps own admission) so add it all up and the world’s in a pretty 💩 position but gold miners down 5-7% when gold price still at 4250!!!!!!! I don’t think so, I’m not selling

Great post Element, thank you and as you say, each to their own but I’m 60% here with almost 25% of my ISA portfolio in GGP plus another £15k in Newmont and I’m not selling either!! Multiple interviews with analysts and industry piers on Bloomberg touting gold to hit 5000 dollars as a short term target. One just this morning said they had 4400 dollar gold at end of January next year but conceded almost there already!!!!!! So much uncertainty and instability around the world and gold miners literally having a license to print money for every oz out the ground. Oil prices remain low too so all stars are aligned for gold miners right now and when announced, if and when the Hav drill results are all that’s hoped for, GGP should fly. Great management team and assets that others will be drooling over!!! GLA

Half the time, buys show as sells in the listed trades on here so I wouldn’t pay too much attention to that!

I have a sizeable position in GGP already but just added another £3k into the ISA - where else am I going to put it!!! 😁

GGP SP will take care of itself over time so just sit back and enjoy the ride. We have an excellent management team and fantastic assets which will provide the fruits were all hoping for. GLA

It only takes 1 seller who holds a good chunk to move the SP. In years to come, the SP will be many multiples of what it is today

There are no big sells going through. As of 15 mins before close, trading volume was just 10% above average so well either way in the ‘normal’ range. As said numerous times before, it doesn’t take much to move the needle in other direction here due to a lack of liquidity. This is more of a medium to long term play and today’s RNS points to 12-24 months out so understandable that a few short term traders will have taken some profits. Anyone who’s an investor and knows what’s coming for invinity in the years ahead should be holding on to what they’ve got and adding on any pullbacks IMO. GLA

I bought 3 tranches of shares earlier today each valued at £2k to go into the kids ISA’s but they’re showing as sells in the listed trades so don’t be fooled!

Still too much press about ‘fire hazards’ etc. but we know that relates to lithium batteries and not VRFB’s!! Once that narrative changes, far more attention and interest will be focused on the likes of IES and what they’re doing

Patience PMC, it will come when the wider market becomes more aware of IES and what they do. Particularly once projects are formally approved and become visible/proven. IES is a strong long term play IMHO.
