Shares traded today are already 2 and a half times the daily average!!!!!!

Sudden price movement on no news and far greater trading activity in the first 2 hours today than an average day do something of real substance must be behind it. Leek of an incoming RNS perhaps? 🤞

I was lucky enough to buy more at 4.58p on the recent dip and now hold a value in GGP in 6 figures which all ticked away in ISA. Am I selling any - he’ll no!!!!! This is or should I say ‘will be’ a large percentage of my tax free retirement funds.

Unreal, what I just stated is being spoken about re Europe and China Renewables/Energy on CNBC right now!!!!! It is a constant topic and rightly so. Renewables ticks so many boxes in the world we live in now and there’s no question in my mind that the world will rapidly upscale to it now - it has very little choice!!!!

Following on from my last post here, Europe is now publicly stating they must invest and rapidly increase their energy independency which is to include renewables. Renewables needs storage and distribution and IES has one of the best global products for this.

Also look at China, news outlets constantly referring to how they’ve invested heavily in renewables which along with the huge oil reserves they’ve built up, has softened their fallout from the Middle East conflict.

China, from an energy supply, has been decoupling itself in so many ways from heavy dependency on external sources for its energy security and has clearly shown why renewables at home is so important. Wake up the rest of the world!!!!!!! GLA

Nice rise since and good to see Citi setting a target price of just under £8 for GGP but expect broker target prices to rise further once updates on Telfer and Havieron drop!

Let’s hope the Middle East conflict can be brought to an end and get the world back to being a place of prosperity and stability for all but for that to happen, the ‘super powers’ really need to change their mindsets and policies though Trumps ratings at an all time low I believe so there’s hope!!!!! Just reported on Bloomberg news that 80% of the worlds tungsten comes from China and that’s it’s a critical material for munitions. Going to make large deposits of Tungsten outside China very desirable - anyone know of any mining companies outside of China with a large Tungsten deposit?!!!!!!

I just sold all my holding in Newmont and topped up here. If it goes lower, I’ll sell something else to buy more as GGP has a fantastic future and SP here will be many multiples of today’s price in the years ahead.

This is my largest single stock holding and I see it as my retirement fund. GLA

Is this company completely invisible to the world, what’s going on in it, what it’s doing and what is prospects are!!!!!!! Massive disruption to the ‘status quo’ energy markets yet once renewables are in place, you don’t need to get anything out of the ground, refine it or ship it!!!! Renewables has to massively accelerate and in particular in Europe and other countries that are so dependant on fossil fuel energy IMHO. GLA

Ianous’ link to Argyll FAQ’s confirms Invinity is being used alongside Titanvolt for batteries for this project. This is excellent news and once the project is signed off/up and running, it’s exactly the type of RNS we’ve been waiting for but it’s only the beginning for IES!

They may be, they may not be SimonV but what’s your point either way?!!! IES will have competitors but it’s tech/VRFB is generally considered to be a globally leading product so is well positioned to compete for business

Reading this report on EOS highlights just how critical the Cap and Floor Framework will be for IES and it also allows it to envisage required/minimum margins for sales in other countries around the world.

IES’s manufacturing and partnerships around the world are going to be very advantageous at a time like this given the disruption and significantly increased costs to shipping.

Finally, I take even further comfort in the very controlled and structured development that IES management has applied to the company’s progress and feel it is simply a matter of short time until it really starts to show its tremendous potential. GLA

*POG dropping below a certain price

Sorry if this has already been covered but does anyone know if GGP have taken out a hedging/insurance policy against the price of oil/fuel rises like they have against the price of gold dropping? Thanks in advance

With the huge surge in LNG and Oil prices plus even greater geopolitical, supply and security uncertainty due to the Middle East conflict, this is yet another major reason for countries to heavily and rapidly invest in clean energy infrastructure and supply to mitigate such risks. GLA
